We enjoyed the seclusion of this property. The chalet was perfect and clean with extras such as fresh hens eggs, homemade jam, homemade pastries, milk, coffee, and tea. Karen provides a surprise for those who stay for at least four nights! Karen and John encouraged us to get out and about on their property including interacting with the days old lamb, petting the pigs, and collecting hens eggs. My husband, nicknamed Anchor Man by Karen, took him with her on the quad to check on the sheep before sunset. It was lambing season and the ewes and lambs were checked on throughout the day. They took us on a tour of their property and up to the top of the hill for awesome views. Karen and John were always available to answer questions about their work and about the area. Our four days there went too quickly! We plan to return!
May your anchors always hold fast and your boomerangs return to ye.

A lovely, spacious room provided with robes, house slippers, nice selection of teas and coffee. Nice linens and a comfortable bed. Very large bath towels and a hot towel rack. Free large parking lot nearby. We had a nice check-in with Lindsey. We had made dinner reservations for here but they let us know ahead of time they were short staffed and they would not be serving dinner that evening. The property is immaculate clean.

This was a wonderful experience, the hosts were very warm and friendly. We absolutely fell in love with them and their very cute little pooch Bella. I highly recommend them to anyone who may be in their area to stay. You won't regret it.

This is a great B&B experience! The room is comfortable and feels very private. There is a great variety of breakfast options, and every one that we tried was absolutely delicious. Most of all, Vicki is a wonderful hostess -- helpful, friendly, and gracious. We enjoyed our conversations with her and meeting her sweet chickens. This was a lovely, welcoming place to be!

This B&B is at the top of a hill overlooking the Uig harbor with spectacular views. The room & bathroom were a teensy bit small but manageable. Delicious breakfast and Shirley was very helpful with giving local directions. She also greeted us with homemade Shortbread hot out of the oven. Soooo good.
We did our food shopping before coming onto Skye. Check with the owner what you might find in the pod. There were a few basics. Otherwise the nearest supermarket was in Portree I think. Go to the one outside the town - not so busy and actually larger store.
Loved the yurt coffee place about 5 min drive from the pod. Loved the Stein Inn in Lochbay (oldest pub on Skye and great food) and there is another good restaurant in the village.
Location of the pod was pretty remote and it was a fair drive to get everywhere we wanted BUT we loved the view out of the window across the fields and out to sea. We also enjoyed all the tips for hikes and visits, the owner had left. We enjoyed the walk to the abandoned church about 20 mins walk from the pod.
All in all we absolutely loved our visit and have already recommended to others.

Immaculately clean and well kept.
Immaculately clean and well kept. Simple but cheesy furnishings. Amazing view and location. (But other houses/pods very close by). Wish one of the beds was a Queen; they are both Full and too small for my 6’5” husband and me to share comfortably. Also all the instructions/recommendations were buried in drawers. Didn’t find them until the end. Still had a wonderful time and delighted how clean the house was.
