The Beach Motel, hotel in Trearddur

Just 300 metres from the award-winning sandy beach of Trearddur Bay, The Beach Motel features local, handmade oak furniture in each room and a spa bath in each private bathroom.

I was in the Uk because a family member passed away I needed somewhere to stay near the port as ferries were cancelled. I could have picked a nicer place, warm clean, relaxing and a very comfortable bed . The room was well equipped with tea coffee making facilities and all the things to make anyone stay comfortable.

Great location to reach treadeur bay by car and other lovely beaches. There's a premier shop just across the road which was handy as we forgot to bring toothpaste! The staff were lovely and helpful 🙂

It’s comparable with Cornwall but on a much smaller scale.

It’s comparable with Cornwall but on a much smaller scale. Its cliffs and rocky coves are easily accessible and the beach is excellent for families, water sports and our canine friends. Restaurants are not too expensive and the quality is excellent. All local people we met were very welcoming and efficient. Great place to visit

Great place - but getting expensive for takeaways, eating out. Also getting very busy for road system to cope. Too many affluent people from Cheshire buying and changing the properties and character of the area . Becoming a bit like Abasoch - which I hate.

Treardurr Bay has the most beautiful beach.

Treardurr Bay has the most beautiful beach. There are lots of small coves within walking distance of the main beach too. It's an ideal place for a beach holiday and for watersports. The views and walks are amazing. A visit to South Stack lighthouse to catch the sun going down is a must. There are ample pubs and restaurants with a local chippy and deli. Supermarkets and shops are a couple of miles away. If the weather is not great there are activities and places to visit within a short drive eg Penrhyn Castle, Beaumaris castle, courthouse and jail.

Beautiful location, lovely views from windows and outdoor seating area. Very clean, all the extras you would expect from hotels such as hairdryer, shower gel, hand wash. But most surprising was the kitchen, anything you might need including salt, oil, herbs and spices and a Airfryer in the cupboard! Would definitely recommend and use again

The motel is situated less than a 5 minute walk from Trearddur’s beautiful beach. The room was large, clean and comfortable. A bonus was that they didn’t charge extra for our dog
