Pub is incredibly old and we love the quirkiness of the overall building.
Staff are great and always remember us .
Food is great including breakfast which is included in your stay.
Well kept cellar with obvious clean pipes as all beers, lagers & ciders are good and taste as they should.
Staff are a real credit to this pub.
Rooms are all great having stayed in at least 5 of the rooms.
Situated in Tintagel, a 3-minute walk from the castle rumoured to have been birthplace of King Arthur, this traditional inn boasts free WiFi and free parking on site.

We were very grateful for the complimentary upgrade, the Christmas decorations were so beautiful, we loved the atmosphere the food was fantastic. We didn't want to leave. We will be back next year.
This 18th-century former corn mill provides first-class food and board, like a true traditional inn. The Mill House is on Cornwall’s north coast, between Port Isaac and Boscastle

Lovely village, although time of year most attractions were closed. What pubs and shops which were available had very friendly & welcoming staff. Jo a lady in one particular shop was so very helpful, better than any tourist information. Good food at the King Arthur pub. Fish n chip shop excellent.

Great place to visit the cave.
Great place to visit the cave. Steep hill to walk back up after visiting the beach/ castle. Not good for people with mobility issues unless you catch the jeep that takes you down and back.
You could walk to the church nearby and have a great view of the ruins from there.

Tintagel is an interesting village, with most things you will need. It has a choice of places to eat, including a vegan cafe. There are lots of places to park. If I were to go again, it would be out of the school holidays as there were crowds everywhere. There are lots of quieter places in the surrounding areas, so we had more than enough to do.

Our Canadian daughter loved her visit to the castle even though the weather was threatening rain.
We booked rooms for two nights, but following my wife's experience of seeing a ghost in the middle of the night we left after just one. No refund was offered.

On-site free parking is a bonus. Staff were very warm and welcoming and hot breakfast was very enjoyable. We stayed at this hotel some 5 years ago and looked forward to a return visit. Under new ownership and clearly some upgrades were in progress in the entrance area but the rooms are quite dilapidated. Getting our room cleaned each day was an almost impossible task to achieve and was very disappointing.
Breakfast was good, full english available, with toast. Also cereals and yogurts.
Location was great, reason for our trip was to visit Tintagel Castle, and The Wootons is at the top of the pathway down to the castle, with Landrover stop off point, pick up and return for the castle, right by the hotel.
The Old Post Office is also just a few yards up into the village.
I absolutely loved my stay, I booked the private room and it was very clean and comfortable, with a very nice en-suite bathroom spotless clean! The owners were very welcoming and friendly, and the location is very close to the Tintagel castle. Everything was better than I expected and will for sure return to stay longer than 1 night. Thank you!
The staff were great, we were really made to feel welcome in their pub, service was brilliant. Nice selection of drinx, and the food was outstanding, and sooo filling. Nice pub with rooms hidden away from the main road but we'll worth the detour if in the Tintagel area. Great base for a visit to the castle and town...
Camelot Castle Hotel has an amazing location overlooking the ocean. It is super clean, quiet, the staff is very friendly, equipped with anything you might need. I would strongly recommend staying here!
