The staff make this hotel, they honestly couldn't be better, I stay in about 40 different hotels a year and these people are the best I've come across in a good 10 years. The parking is easy, the location fantastic and the breakfast really excellent (and available before 7am which made me really happy).

The room is so beautifully furnished with the super comfortable 4 poster bed and little cozy sofa for watching TV on a big screen that could also be angled towards the bed. The bathroom was super clean and the shower was very powerful. The breakfast hampers were delicious and varied, refilled each day and the bed remade. Everything you might need was available including local leaflets and recommendations, kettle, toaster and mini fridge. Check-in was explained well and the location is so perfect for exploring Lerwick and we could walk everywhere in town from the hotel. Could not believe how great value for money this stay is and would love to come back when staying in Lerwick.

A lovely base for some bracing walks around the lochs & voes with a excellent choice of buses too taking one to Lerwick & south to Sumburgh or North to the Northern Isles or the wonderful windswept wilderness of Eshaness, home to moonwalking Shetland ponies. You’ll have to ask your cab driver about that!
