Overall Heywood is a lovely spa hotel. We had a lovely stay, a great sleep in a nice king bed, and the breakfast was lovely. A nice selection of options on the menu is available, with some juices and a fresh coffee available. The room was spacious (albeit we were given a free upgrade - always boxes well) with a lovely layout that felt new and well designed. The team aided us in sourcing flowers as part of a baby moon, a lovely touch. The hotel is within a brief walk to the Tenby center - and we made it even with a pregnant wife. We found the hotel is also well priced albeit we have visited outside of peak season.
The hotel felt intimate but has comfortable spaces, the spa was of a more than suitable standard for a 4-star.
Relax in the Bar and lounge which also overlook South Beach and Caldey Island. Drinks can also be enjoyed on our Terrace. Unwind in our indoor heated swimming pool and heated loungers.

What a gem. Tenby House is just a ton of fun. Literally in the middle of everything. The pub and beer garden are a great asset but not so noisy as to interfere with sleeping guests. We really enjoyed the whole experience, and Tenby is lovely overall.

Tenby is a lovely place for a winter break. We loved the walks on the beach, around the castle and around the town.
There are plenty of good pubs and we particularly liked the Baytree where we had a fabulous Sunday lunch.Greggs is great for a decent coffee at a reasonable price with plenty of seating (the only coffee place open on Christmas Eve afternoon and lovely staff)

Tenby is is a beautiful place I love it. Some people do find it hard going with the hills, but everything you need is there, from souveniers ,food, shops, pubs and its dog friendly, and the locals are lovely, if you like the beach you will love it. Had food in the Normandie, Billycan, and Harbwr, all excellent.

I visit Tenby a few times a year and am always happy to visit the local pubs and eateries. The beaches are beautiful and the walk to saunderfoot either on a rainy or sunny day is amazing with spectacular scenery.

Everything is great, ghost town in winter but still great to visit, everything is close by, lots of genals, lots of happy and smiley people, everybody is friendly, prices are reasonable.
Went for a curry at Buddha Buddha and I don’t recommend it at all, absolutely awful & the manager was staring at us the whole time. Didn’t even want to pay for it as I left almost all of it.

It is a lovely place, little nooks for reading and sitting as well as a beautiful garden and the breakfast feels special. The waffles were loved by the kids. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are just right and I'm fussy when it comes to pillows. Lovely waterfall shower too! The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. We had dinner at the Heywood Spa Hotel next door, would highly recommend as you don't have to go far.
Hotel was very dated, room was very small but clean, very expensive for a dated hotel, paid £121 for the room plus £20 extra for breakfast, a total of £141. I've had cheaper and better hotels in London than the Clarence Hotel in Tenby, on arrival the same room was £89, when asked how this was I was informed its just like flights, could be cheaper nearer the time, not amused,
Everything was perfect from the welcome at Reception to the meals (which were good value and delicious), the staff in the restaurant who couldn't do enough to ensure we had everything we needed and the setting of the hotel with its beautiful gardens and views across to Tenby Harbour. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Great location on the seafront. Tenby town a short walk away. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Great food & lovely atmosphere. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and made the hotel really welcoming.
Nice location only 5 mins drive from Tenby seafront. Had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay with a small dog. Lots of space throughout the house.
