Kind, friendly staff that had excellent suggestions about local food and attractions. The hotel is located within the same block as the Castle, so was perfect for an evening stroll to explore the surrounding grounds.

The value of the food and drink on offer in the bar was incredible. I was very pleasantly surprised by the value for money in the bar, and the variety of the menu. I wanted to eat here ten times over. The room was as anticipated, and on the first floor - the staff listened to our request and were happy to accommodate. The staircase up was a little narrow but that suited my grandma as she could lean on the walls and staircases.

Location decent for anyone looking to stay in Tamworth. Have to say best night sleep I have had in ages, generally struggle sleeping away from home. For £45 for the night, it was very good value. Owner very polite and outlined was carrying out works. Wish him all the best in updating.

Tamworth is a lovely historic town.
I met up with friends for a Peaky Blinders group photo shoot and bit of a pub crawl.
We were made extremely welcome, local Police had photos taken with our group.
Fabulous place for photos in Castle grounds.
Pubs were fabulous, locals and/or visitors joining us on photos.

The Tamworth Arms is a great place to stay, with friendly staff, very good food and clean rooms.
We enjoyed our walk around the town. The castle looked lovely all lit up at night. It would have been nice to have been there during the day to visit the castle and find out more about the King of Mercia.

Tamworth has a lot in it.
Tamworth has a lot in it. A massive retail park with loads of shops, even got a Primark, lots of food options on it too, Nandos, Pizza Exp, Mcdonalds, KFC and loads more. There's big ski centre, its got everything if you want to venture out at night or find yourself short of something you forgot to pack.
Your colleague at the reception was very welcoming and customer centric. As I am observing Ramadan, and will not be able to have any food after 04:30 hours, he said he will arrange night service to bring some breakfast, cereal, toast fruits to my room. At 04:00 AM my breakfast delivered. To avoid waiting to check out in the morning a copy of the receipt for my was left under the door which meant I could leave the hotel quickly.
We chose hotel as very close to Drayton manor. Should have looked more into location as a swimming pool next door we could have made use of. Beautiful surroundings with a very short walk across the bridge to a fabulous play park for kids due to open soon, skate park, cafe, castle and gardens. Wish we were there for more than our trip to just the theme park. Would definitely come to Tamworth again.
Using my friend's blue badge meant we had free car parking next to the hotel. The room was fine and the shower room new and shiny! Being on the edge of Tamworth enabled us to travel in and out of the town easily. Breakfasts were freshly cooked.
