Nice hotel in a good location for exploring the beautiful surroundings. Spacious rooms with blackout blinds and nice quiet air conditioning. The food was good in the restaurant for our evening meals, and the spa was really nice. The most helpful staff were on in the evening, they looked like a couple of bouncers but were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help.

The Castle Hotel, Conwy, North Wales, hotel in Tal-y-Cafn

Set in a 300 year-old coaching inn, The Castle Hotel, Conwy, North Wales is a mile from Conwy Marina.

Location great but parking was challenging with a wide vehicle entering facilities originally meant for a Coaching Inn. It was only later that we discovered another parking area, over the road, with much easier access. Thr hotel interior was beautiful and our bedroom didn't disappoint being both spacious and comfortable. Bath robes and slippers were provided but I would have liked a shower cap. Food was of a good standard but not exceptional.

Conwy Valley Hotel, hotel in Tal-y-Cafn

Set in a rural village in the heart of the spectacular Conwy Valley in 5 acres of land, this 3-star family-run hotel lies on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, framed by the Carneddau Mountains....

The location was quiet and although basic the little chalet was clean, tidy and a great base to sleep in. We were also recommended a lovely pub 1 minute up the road which had lovely homemade food as the accommodation didn't appear to serve food.

Great central location for areas visited Aberglaslyn Pass, Conwy Falls, Llanrwst & Zip world Caverns. The Breakfast, Saturday evening dinner & Sunday Roast were all very nice and managment were friendly & nothing too much trouble. Rooms well decorated with a massive tub & shower in our room. Remote location but the property had everything we needed as well as a pleasant bar area for pre or post dinner drinks. The Restaurant was always busy with a lot of locals even popping by for breakfast. We would definately visit again.

This hotel is in a superb location . The rooms are beautifully appointed and clean. They are above the pub and are therefore very noisy . The pub/restaurant but is mediocre . The food was really not fantastic and the arrive, although exceptionally friendly was not very efficient .

We stayed for 3 nights at the snowdon studio 2 adults and 2 children and 1 small dog 🐾 It truly was a home from home, a very comfortable stay with some nice touches tea, sugar, coffee and milk and all toiletries and robes were provided and a beautiful complimentary bottle of prosecco, flowers and chocolates! Our view of the mountain range from the balcony was superb, even better in the hot tub watching the sun go down. The location is a short drive to Snowdon, Llandudno, Towyn and Rhyl etc. It has also has a large carpark on site. Mike the manager also gave us an I pad that we could order food and drink on from the bar and restaurant down stairs for room service Big thank you to Mike, Rhys and all the team in the bar and restaurant the food and drinks were excellent. I would definitely recommend this gem of a place and we will most certainly be back for another stay. All the best Rob Carla Sonny Shea Rudy
