It was exactly what I needed. A clean comfy (really comfy) bed, a nice hot shower, a sweet gentleman named Bob who shared the history of the building with me.
A pub on the first floor.
Plenty to eat around the corner.
Perfect.

Fascinating area with lots of history associated with the river and the canals. Plenty of pubs and restaurants and some great walks, esepcailly along the river and the disused railway line. Good base for exploring this part of the Midlands.

Stourport-On-Severn itself has some good shops on the High Street. Large Tesco’s on the outskirts and once you are familiar with the one way system good place. Library excellent. Limited parking on the High Street, but there is a car park near the Library and Civic Centre, and additional spaces near the river. In good river. You can walk along the river bank. Lovely cake shop on High Street selling home made cakes.

A perfect location for touring the area.
A perfect location for touring the area. Lots of restaurants and pubs close by. Also a supermarket within walking distance. Stourport is a pleasant little town on the Severn river and a hub on the recreational canal system. Pleased we stayed there

Interesting little town on the river Severn and Worcester canal. A friendly town and a great place for boat lovers. Lovey river walk and canal basin. We had a great Indian meal in the Severn Tandoori Restaurant, would recommend it. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lots of interesting towns nearby.

Lovely pretty place, particularly down by the waterside.
Lovely pretty place, particularly down by the waterside.
We were there for a 3 day event at the Civic, but there is still plenty to do to have a nice stay around the area.
There are all the shops you'll need, although the cafes that we found open (out of season) finished serving hot food early afternoon. There is a good choice of pubs, restaurants & takeaways.
The music/record shop & antique shops opened on Sunday too.
Easy to get around by foot although the buses to & from Kidderminster are confusing because of the one-way routes but with the same numbers (15 A/B/C). You can better rely on the no.3 - to find the stops, & to be direct, although further to walk in Kidderminster, to & from the railway station.

The hotel was a great stop-off point for our trip from Yorkshire down to Devon. It had everything we needed. The staff were very welcoming and showed us to our room. We luckily arrived in time for dinner and had one of the best curries we have ever had! Breakfast was also brilliant. We will definitely look to stay again.
Riverside location, close to Canal Basin, Riverside walks and the amenities of Stourport and it's High Street were excellent. Our room was basic but clean and functional. Small fridge and tea making facilities. Shower gel, soap and shampoo were also a nice touch. Towels and bed linen were of a good quality.
Hotel was clean and tidy (inside) and the staff were polite and helpful when they were asked anything.
There was a good range of beers, the food was nice and the function room facility was very good.
