A modern hotel in the city of Stoke-on-Trent, centrally located within the Midlands and close to Alton Towers, with excellent motorway, road links and rail links to the Northwest..
Located in Meir, the Weathervane Hotel is 20 minutes’ drive from Alton Towers.

The shower was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The large tv was an added bonus. The breakfast included was lovely, good selection of continental and cooked.
In a peaceful, rural location, this country house was originally built in 1845. Today, the house has been converted into a luxurious privately owned hotel with many beautiful original features.

It's a lovely friendly hotel in the countryside. The lovely receptionist Jeeva was very accommodating. She checked us in and assisted us with my suitcase all the way to our room on the first floor. Jeeva's service was excellent with a warm welcome. Our room was great and affordable as well. Nice big bathroom with comfy bed. I noted this room and will book it on our next visit. We will definitely return. Big Thanks to Jeeva and your team.
For pottery collectors or anyone interested in the history...
For pottery collectors or anyone interested in the history of pottery making in the UK, Stoke-On-Trent is a must visit. Plan on a whole day each at the Wedgewood Museum and Middleport Pottery. Fascinating histories!
In addition, Spode, Royal Stafford and Portmeirion all have their factory stores in Stoke and are all within a few miles of each other. Bring your checkbook. For garden lovers, the Biddulph Estate will blow you away.

Stoke is off the beaten path we were there to visit friends.
Stoke is off the beaten path we were there to visit friends. Otherwise, we likely would not have a reason to go there. People we interacted with seemed very nice, but it's definitely a place that has seen its better days.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn by Junction 15, very convenient.
Stayed at the Holiday Inn by Junction 15, very convenient. Went to Trentham gardens. The gardens have been restored a lot in the last 20 years and are beautiful, well worth a visit. Nearby there is a garden centre and a shopping area with interesting little shops selling clothes, glassware, pottery, embroidery etc. People in Stoke are very down to earth and friendly. If we had had another day we would have liked to visit the National Trust gardens at Biddulph Grange, which have also been restored, but that will have to wait until our next visit.

Perfect for families, friends, business and couples. So much to do around the area. Local tescos, aldi, halfords, b&m, mc Donald's, Gregg's, and other big named shops. Also there is a retail mall about 10 min drive away. Beautiful area with gorgeous trees and scenery. Local to alton towers and a mile down the road is monkey forest, the uks only place where you can walk amongst 140 monkeys. A must visit!

We had issues with our room and we were upgraded without charge. The new room was better for us. Staff were helpful. Both rooms were clean. Cheap parking at the back of the hotel. Walking distance to the high street and shopping complex.
Pretty much the entire thing was bang on, yes the TV was small and the bathrooms seemed a little dated but you're getting what you pay for. If you're after the most up to date hotel in the world go to a premier inn or hilton!
Great location for a stop on route to Alton Towers.
Sainsbury's near by for cheap fuel and packed lunches.
Hotel was lovely and quiet, we all had a great night sleep.
