We had a wonderful stay here while spending a view days at the Isle of Skye. The location was fantastic for exploring the northeast coast and about a 20 minute drive to the town of Portree for shops and restaurants.
We were particularly impressed by the splendid breakfast. I forgot to let Rachel know in advance that my partner is vegan, but she was very thoughtful and accommodating when we told her. Rachel was a great host and provided a warm and welcoming environment :)

The views from the property were great. We liked how quaint the property was and the history around it.
We liked the kitchen facilities as it was a fair drive into other establishments for dinner (and with the snow and ice we didn't want to drive that road in the dark) so we made use of the kitchen for our dinner both nights.

The location. It was perfect for me (solo traveller) I was after some isolation and quiet, No.6 provided just that. The views were stunningly beautiful. The cottage itself was cosy and warm, it had everything you needed within the cottage. Bed was really comfortable and the shower was great too. I was incredibly lucky and saw the Aurora one night from outside the property too. I cannot wait to come back and so much so, I’ve already booked up again! Thank you.

Location was close to the attractions we wanted to see. Very quiet and peaceful area to stay. Accommodation exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort. Everything you could possibly need was available within the house.

All around there is fantastic views of mountains even in the rain it's outstanding and beautiful . The locals are so friendly and helpful . There is a little shop in walking distance and a little post office . There are great walks with amazing waterfalls to see and mountains to walk up if you're feeling fit . You do need a car to get round but beware of pot holes narrow roads they have pull in places . My favourite place was Poortree we're I did my main shopping at the Coop ( it's cheaper ) after taking in the site's , wherever you go on the Isle of Skye you will not be disappointed ❤.

The place itself was very nice and clean.
The place itself was very nice and clean. The views were stunning from the location. All information needed was provided from the host.
It was difficult to figure out the heating and so it was a little chilly. The only store in town closes fairly early.
I would recommend this stay to anyone passing through the area.
