Whatley Manor, hotel in Stanton Saint Quintin

Nestled within 12 acres of picturesque Wiltshire countryside, this hotel is a stylish venue where you can relax and revive.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We have stayed 5 times before and will return again. Service in the Bar was very slow in spite of the face that there was hardly anyone there !!. We stayed on a Tuesday night. In the end we trapped up to the bar to place our order (as we were at risk of missing our table slot for dinner if we wanted a pre dinner drink in the bar) as opposed to waiting for table service. We ate this time in Greys. The Menu was a bit limited. The Spatchcock Chicken was a little disappointing. But overall the meal was good. The wine list was a little pricey. We have thoroughly enjoyed the Michelin tasing menu in the past. Service was VERY slow at breakfast which was a little frustrating as we had made the effort to get up EXTRA early as we were on a tight schedule and had allowed PLENTY of time. We gave our order and nothing arrived - the waitress then came up to us and re confirmed our order - it seemed our order had NOT been processed : ( - however we did have a lovely stay - the hotel has lovely facilities - fortunately all the above has not put us off - the room is very comfortable and we will definitely be back. We still love Whatley Manor :)

Best Western Plus Angel Hotel, hotel in Stanton Saint Quintin

Dating back to the 17th century, the Best Western Plus Angel Hotel offers high-quality accommodations and brasserie dining. In the center of Chippenham, the hotel has indoor pool, gym and WiFi.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, as we asked if it was possible to change room, the room was lovely, but it was to hot for my dog, also on 3rd floor, which was a bit difficult for my elderly mum. So reception were very helpful with changing our room onto the ground floor which was lovely. It's very much appreciated. Also breakfast staff were very friendly and tentative to all needs.

The location was excellent and secluded. A few minutes drive off the motorway. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel attended to our requests. The room was cleaned and towels changed daily. The continental breakfasts were limited but sufficient. The evening meals were well presented. A nice garden to walk around with large patio area with seating and tables.

The Bell House, hotel in Stanton Saint Quintin

Located in Sutton Benger, within 9 miles of Lacock Abbey and 16 miles of Cotswold Water Park, The Bell House provides accommodations with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free...

The Bell House is a quintessential English inn dating back over 500 years. It was easy to find, had ample parking and the host, Chris, was the perfect host. We had a great dinner and full English breakfast served at Bell House and Chris provided us with local history and conversation that made the stay especially enjoyable. I was traveling with family, including adult sons, and we had a wonderful room that accommodated all of us. I would stay here again.
