I had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The entrance area is quite impressive and the leisure facilities were a nice bonus. We had dinner in the main restaurant and the food was simple but nice. A perfect pit stop before catching an early flight!

A lovely room above a tavern. Check-in was smooth, and everything was as described. One train stop from Stansted airport. Thoughful touches like robes and slippers, a great meal downstairs, and a convenience store next door. Bed was very comfortable and the bottles of water in the refrigerator and couple of small snacks were much appreciated. We enjoyed our stay, Thank you!

Great staff and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms came with complimentary hot drinks and the beds were extremely comfortable. The choice of breakfast was excellent too for both hot and cold food as well as drinks. Finally, the location of the hotel is spot on being right next door to the terminal building and only a 5-6 minute walk from reception to check in. Superb. I highly recommend the Hampton by Hilton to other travellers.

One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. A really superb sellection and everything was piping hot. Room and bathroom were spotless and the big walk in shower was so easy to use, unlike some hotels. Give it a try you won't regret it.

Various websites do not make it clear that the nearest railway station is Stansted airport (not Stansted Mountfitchet which is the hotel's official address). Also when we arrived at Stansted airport railway station there was no signage at railway station level to indicate where the hotel is. The signs only appear at ground level.

Comfy beds and pillows very clean and very close to the airport breakfast was very good too. Shame the curtains aren’t thick enough to block out the ally morning light that’s the only criticism of the hotel

Very, attractive hotel interior, staff friendly and efficient. We loved the room with its view over the runway! This was fascinating. The toilet with shower room was beautifully and tastefully organised. At breakfast there was a very pleasant atmosphere not often found in hotels and we found eating alongside airport workers and pilots as well as fellow travellers to be a lovely mix. Having the lounge seating in this open plan setting with the dining area provided a relaxing and interesting place to await the time to leave. We will be happy to return.

Ive stayed at this hotel several times as my go to hotel when flying from Stansted but never managed to have the breakfast however thanks to Jet2 Twilight checkin I was able to have the early breakfast this time. Nice selection of cereals, beverages croissants bread etc which was a very nice start to the day. The room was comfortable clean and I had a good nights sleep in preparation for my early 6am flight Great frequent and efficient shuttle service between the hotel and the airport
Location is 5 minutes walk to Stansted airport. Room was spacious and clean. There is a restaurant and bar on site. Shuttle bus available from rental car drop off back to terminal, which you can then walk to the hotel. Complementary breakfast, although we didn’t get to try this due to the timing of our flight.
It was very close to the airport so it was easy to get to the hotel via a walkway, also very easy to get to the train at the airport. We arrived early and the staff were very nice and gave us a room as soon as one was available. The lobby area is also a good place with lots of seating options.
Airport shuttle was on time, Fast and easy to use. Staff on reception really helpful. Checked in fast and the room was really clean and comfy, Thick walls and doors with slow closing hinges to block out the noise of other hotel stays leaving in the early hours to catch flights.
Great location, right beside the airport with cheap shuttle bus every 30 mins at least to and from the hotel. Hotel room was large, clean and had a TV so perfect for stay close to airport.
