Perfect location. We were scheduled to fly out of Stansted, so having a comfortable B&B close to the trains and close to the airport worked perfectly for us.

The hotel is very close, just opposite to the long stay Stansted car park. I drove for less than 2 minutes to the car park and left my car theere. The shuttle bus arrives every 15 minutes, but in my case it waited a bit more time till it left the car parking. It takes around another 15 minutes to reach the airport. Everything was well orgonized, the check in time did not take long, probably because I gave most of the data needed online and in advance. The room was pretty decent, clean and with a large TV screen. There is a small fridge with a mini bar, if you need some drinks, or just leave your own items inside to cool down. Check out process was very quick. You can easily park your car in the car park of the hotel. I even saw a small rabit on the hotel car park early in the morning when I took my car to head to the long stay car park.
In future we will travel directly home after a late evening...
In future we will travel directly home after a late evening plane arrival into Stansted. We will forego the convenience of an overnight stay and opt to have the inconvenience of late travel so that we do not have to sleep in a filthy unclean room.

I only passed through on the way to Central London. The airport had good shops and facilities to hang out and everything went a lot better and smoother than expected. Big thanks to the airport workers!

Due to the traffic we stay here the night before our flight - making it less stressful - there is always the worry about being held up on our journey to the airport - this is why we travel the day before.

Great staff and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms came with complimentary hot drinks and the beds were extremely comfortable. The choice of breakfast was excellent too for both hot and cold food as well as drinks. Finally, the location of the hotel is spot on being right next door to the terminal building and only a 5-6 minute walk from reception to check in. Superb. I highly recommend the Hampton by Hilton to other travellers.

One of the best breakfasts I have ever had.
One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. A really superb sellection and everything was piping hot. Room and bathroom were spotless and the big walk in shower was so easy to use, unlike some hotels. Give it a try you won't regret it.

Various websites do not make it clear that the nearest...
Various websites do not make it clear that the nearest railway station is Stansted airport (not Stansted Mountfitchet which is the hotel's official address). Also when we arrived at Stansted airport railway station there was no signage at railway station level to indicate where the hotel is. The signs only appear at ground level.

The hotel benefits from a direct shuttle that goes to the airport frequently, so great for an early flight. It costs £4 per journey which is probably standard but I think a little on the expensive side, seeing as there is no other way to get there, unless you’re driving and parking at the airport.
The hotel is comfortable, clean, staff were friendly but it is a little dated. However, it was only to stay over one night.
Very good location, close to the airport. It is easy to find the hotel and everything is marked clearly all the eay from terminal. Room was clean and quite spacious. Considering the prices in London, it was a reasonable price for the location.
Welcoming staff at reception, and friendly waiting staff in restaurant. The food was not cheap, but was better than I expected in an hotel, particularly an airport hotel.
Very nice hotel, I like the Shuttle bus from airport, it was possible to pay the bus fee 4£ also by card. Very good breakfast provided from 4a.m for early flyers.
