Seacote Hotel, hotel in St Bees

Right on the seafront in St Bees on the West Cumbrian Coast, Seacote Hotel features stunning sea views and a garden, just 6 miles from the Lake District National Park.

We chose the Seacote for a last minute one night stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and warm and most importantly quiet. We ate here and the food is beautiful and you get ALOT for your money. We will definitely be staying here again if we pass through.

The Manor, hotel in St Bees

Featuring a garden, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, The Manor is located in St Bees, 16 miles from Wasdale and 17 miles from Muncaster Castle.

The Manor was a great place to stay before starting the Coast to Coast walk with my daughter. It was easy to get to from the train station, the staff was very friendly, the food/drink great, and beds comfortable. The breakfast was especially appreciated as we had a variety of choices and were able to fuel up for the first day. It was also right across from the small village shop where we stocked up on some items. I would definitely stay here again!

Sella Park Country House Hotel, hotel in St Bees

Located in Seascale, 8.9 miles from Wasdale, Sella Park Country House Hotel provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

By far the best hotel I have stayed at, it was beyond my expectations. The building itself is elegant whilst keeping the original features and charm. The rooms were like apartments huge, the front of house staff and chef went above and beyond even gave our pooch a sausage for breakfast and lots of fuss. The food on the evening and breakfast was plenty, delicious and lots of choice. Loved this place and will definitely be back again.

    Lovely seaside town.

Lovely seaside town. The beach and the walks at St Bees head are lovely and definitely worthwhile. There’s not a lot happening in the town except for when they have garden shows etc. We had a meal at the Manor Inn, best burger I’ve had in a long time.

A really lovely easy place to stay. Comfortable and spacious room. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff, such lovely people. Good home cooked food, delicious pie and mash and extra gravy! We were only there 1 night but St Bees itself seems very pretty.

Interesting small town with good rail connections.

Interesting small town with good rail connections. Reccomend the queens head pub good food and nice atmosphere with excellent service. Cafe at the beach did really good breakfasts. Walking the coastal path was easy using one way walks with rail returns. There is a lot of interesting history in the area and easy access to the Charles Third coastal walk.

Beautiful place. The area is stunning.

Beautiful place. The area is stunning. The only downside is the difficulties with parking. Small streets, too many cars, too many inconsiderate drivers driving too fast. Historic buildings. Railway museum. Nice pubs & restaurants. Friendly people

    St Bees beach is fabulous.

St Bees beach is fabulous. As well as the beach there's a little brook under the bridge to the caravan site and walks. Our 5 year-old grandson loved setting up stepping stones and building dams when the beach was too windy. Also - there's an abundance of fresh water cress growing in the brook which was a delicious find. The playground is excellent We loved staying at the Seacote hotel. Family rooms are very comfortable and the cleaning staff were wonderful. Breakfast and all our meals there were good - except our grandson would have liked to have had a proper pizza, not the sad effort supplied for children!

Central position in St Bees. Excellent breakfast served 'hot'. I was able to park outside but I was lucky; parking is limited.
