Comfortable bed. I had a room in the back adjacent to the lawn that was quiet and had no dog stuff and I could hang some things on the line. Owner, Will, very nice. Plenty of toilet paper. Good shower. Lots of towels.

We didn't have breakfast as it didn't start until 8:30am - which was a bit late for us. The location was great. The room was very clean. Nice town. Not much choice about for a place to eat.

Sella Park Country House Hotel, hotel in St Bees

Sella Park Country house hotel has recently undergone a full refurbishment of our public areas making it even more relaxing and now has a modern luxurious feel - we cant wait to welcome you This...

By far the best hotel I have stayed at, it was beyond my expectations. The building itself is elegant whilst keeping the original features and charm. The rooms were like apartments huge, the front of house staff and chef went above and beyond even gave our pooch a sausage for breakfast and lots of fuss. The food on the evening and breakfast was plenty, delicious and lots of choice. Loved this place and will definitely be back again.

    Lovely seaside town.

Lovely seaside town. The beach and the walks at St Bees head are lovely and definitely worthwhile. There’s not a lot happening in the town except for when they have garden shows etc. We had a meal at the Manor Inn, best burger I’ve had in a long time.

Interesting small town with good rail connections. Reccomend the queens head pub good food and nice atmosphere with excellent service. Cafe at the beach did really good breakfasts. Walking the coastal path was easy using one way walks with rail returns. There is a lot of interesting history in the area and easy access to the Charles Third coastal walk.

Beautiful place. The area is stunning.

Beautiful place. The area is stunning. The only downside is the difficulties with parking. Small streets, too many cars, too many inconsiderate drivers driving too fast. Historic buildings. Railway museum. Nice pubs & restaurants. Friendly people

    St Bees beach is fabulous.

St Bees beach is fabulous. As well as the beach there's a little brook under the bridge to the caravan site and walks. Our 5 year-old grandson loved setting up stepping stones and building dams when the beach was too windy. Also - there's an abundance of fresh water cress growing in the brook which was a delicious find. The playground is excellent We loved staying at the Seacote hotel. Family rooms are very comfortable and the cleaning staff were wonderful. Breakfast and all our meals there were good - except our grandson would have liked to have had a proper pizza, not the sad effort supplied for children!

Couldn't fault the house at all. It was super well positioned for the beach and coastal path. We were pleased to visit St Bees and understand a bit more about the coastal area of the Lake District.

The cottage (part of the old dairy) on the farm is within the village and next door to the railway station at St Bees. Two pubs close by and a 5 minute stroll to the beach, who could ask for more?
