Very friendly hosts - great breakfast and good rooms. One of our rooms was recently renovated and really nice. Despite rain it was a mile walk to restaurant at the station.

We had the most wonderful time in Riverside Bothy. It all started perfectly with the warm welcome of the host (Rachel). She showed us the Bothy and explained how all worked. The Bothy is just like the pictures, cozy and well equipped. Rachel was so thoughtful for buying us bread, milk, butter, marmelade, sugar, tea, coffee and other supplies. And don’t forget the delicious scones she and her daughter baked for us. The location is near the river and truly magical. We loved everything about the Tiny House and definitely return when we stay in this area again. Thank you for your warmth and the warm welcome Rachel! Big hug from us.

We felt very safe and welcomed. We had everything we needed. The environment perfectly met our expectations, the view from the window was breathtaking. We left the car safer in the courtyard. It's definitely not the last time we visit Scotland and we hope to stay here again!
Lovely village with several B&B properties but book early!
Lovely village with several B&B properties but book early! The only restaurant in town was the Old Station Restaurant. Really excellent food and ambiance but again bok early - its the only place we found to eat in the evening.

We didn't really visit Spean Bridge since we wanted to see Glenfinnan, hike around the lochs and go to the beach at Mallaig. But it seemed nice and quiet. And Spean Lodge was a piece of heaven so we didn't really want to leave when we were back :)

Spean Bridge is a pretty little place with some stunning walks and scenery. The shop has everything you need for your stay and there is also a Post office. There wasn't a huge selection of places to eat or drink and some were closed when we were there but it was probably just the time of year and we ventured into Fort William which has plenty of choice to eat and drink.

Beautiful Small Village tucked away from the Hussle and bustle. Quite and Peaceful area. Mai Bus root to Fort William and surrounding area's.
Locals are so helpful and supportive, specially, i was waiting for a bus to turn up for a while when a beautiful lady turned up and asked me if i was okay as she had noticed me being waiting at bus stop quite a while.

It's a good place to explore the area.
It's a good place to explore the area. Spean Bridge itself is tiny, but has one excellent restaurant at the Old Station. There are some other places but they are only open until 4 or 5, so I did not visit those. For additional options, you'd have to take a 15-minute drive to the next town over (Fort William).
My hotel - Highland Bridge Hotel - has a pub attached that was frequented every night by the locals. So there is a place to hang out if you must.
Overall a good location to explore the Scottish countryside. Considering everywhere you have to go will take you an hour, it isn't so bad you're basically 15 minutes out of town.

We felt safe and secure in our accommodation.
We felt safe and secure in our accommodation. Felt intimidated by locals who got angry with us for not breaking the speed restrictions and we were not alone that felt this! Not much to do in the actual village itself but is a good base to venture out, the b and b we stayed in though was a pleasure to come home to - Braelea, run by Margaret. A fabulous lady with knowledge for days out. We are in restaurants recommended by Margaret.

Thr facilities are top notch the lodges have everything you need. The whole site is just one big quiet area pure peace. It's close to all the attractions. Ben nevis and fort william only a short drive.. the owners are really nice and everyone just respects each others privacy.
Fort william has loads to do but gets really busy so this place is perfect for the people who want peace at the end of the day. would recommend climbing ben nevis. We will be staying again
Full cooked Scottish breakfast giving good boost for long days of hill walking, including Ben Nevis. Weather was was rather rainy and the lady host was extremely supportive welcoming us soaking wet and in helping to dry our gear for the next day. Good restaurant at a walking distance. Ben Nevis and Fort William only 15 mins drive away.
The property was ideal for our requirements. Very comfortable with a spacious lounge.
Well equipped & up to date, modern facilities. Clear information on how to use everything.
The hot tube was a welcomes bonus and greatly appreciated by a number of our party.
Convenient for Fort William and Ben Nevis.
Parking for 3 or 4 cars
Excellent accommodation - very comfortable bed, good shower with lots of hot water and well equipped little kitchen. Location quiet despite being just of the A82. Couple of restaurants/bars and a small supermarket withing walking distance and nice nearby walks in the woods and along the river.
The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Very helpful host who was able to advise on local facilities and restaurants. Really good continental breakfast including home made products.
