The location was great, on a really lovely quiet site and there was even a small playground for young children. The property itself was really comfortable, had plenty of room for the 3 of us and it was absolutely spotless. Second stay here and super clean again. Hosts really friendly, helpful and rectified a very minor issue immediately. Met Baz the cat who was just as lovely as his owners.Very private and well equipped with lots of little extras so it feels like home. Milk, eggs, biscuits, coffee too etc all you need. There is a village a few miles up the road that has lots of shops and 2 supermarkets so ideal as a holiday base for longer stays.
We will definitely return and look forward to enjoying all the outdoor space again. Victoria is an attentive host, she always responds quickly and tries to help in whatever way she can. That for us personally is one of the main reasons we return to places. I can 100% recommend Ruddingwood Lodge.
The area is fantastic, enjoyed so many places. Windmill tour in Tuxford Windmill Retford Road, Tuxford, GB NG22 0NW where we had a fantastic afternoon thanks to the miller/owner Paul. Newark Castle, Bomber command in Lincoln, and the must visit Brewery, Mileston Brewery Great North Road, Cromwell, GB NG23 6JE. Brilliant four days.

South Clinton is about 20 minutes drive from lots of tourist spots such as Lincoln castle and numerous national trusts. Nice quiet village location with some beautiful walks.
Theres a nice local park to visit.
