The host and the location were wonderful. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is beautiful and perfectly located for us to stay and get out and about. Our Yurt was fab. We stayed in a Yurt with Electricity, and it was great to have with a young family. The bed was super comfy, which added to our lovely experience. The bathroom facilities were very clean and well maintained. The kitchen area had everything you needed for a stay. As a solo parent travelling with 2 young kids, I felt very safe here. My kids loved running around the field area, and they loved seeing the cows and horses on the drive into the farm.

The room was really well fitted out and the bed was so comfortable and provided us with a great nights sleep. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and lovely to see local produce used. The staff are all so accommodating, helpful and polite. Really lovely location and even though it is close to the dual carriageway we didn't hear anything. Would recommend this hotel.
Turtley corn hotel was simply perfect. The staff when above and beyond to ensure we have the very best time, the rooms, food and atmosphere were they perfect place to stay to help celebrate our son’s wedding thank you

We lived in South Brent for a good many years and were there to catch up with old friends. It's a great location as it sits on the very edge of Dartmoor - so to explore the region is easy from there. On top of that it is 40 minutes from Torquay and Devon's beautiful coastline, and midway between Plymouth at one end of the A38 and Exeter at the other - both historic cities with great shopping.

A deligtful little town with good shops - even a flower shop! Good supper at the Packhorse Inn and very good room at The Station House. I travelled by train to Totnes and then short car/taxi ride to South Brent. I would have liked to stay longer to enjoy the local walks but I was attending a family funeral there and had to get home to Kent.

Location pretty. Food excellent.
Location pretty. Food excellent. Room adequate although the bed was very comfortable.
It was very busy at all times during our stay & sometimes the service was a bit slow & fussy-lots of staff asking but nobody actually doing!
The property, while close to the A road, remains quiet and secluded. The lane next to the property offers an easy walk to a pub about 5 minutes away (a tad expensive) or South Brent village at about a 25 minutes walk, which has got all the shops, pubs that we needed. The interior is comfortable, and easily warmed with the log burner. Despite the listing saying there was no WIFI available, there was, and it ran Spotify easily. Didn't use it for anything else.
We had a lovely stay at Station House. Staff were welcoming and the building is full of character. The room had everything we needed and more. It was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We did struggle getting a taxi but Richard went above and beyond to help us get to our booked restaurant. Taxis are hard to get around South Brent so book in advance :)
The hotel is in the centre of town with very convenient parking. The food was excellent, the staff very attentive and the bar boasts, who must be, amongst the most efficient and hardworking barman in the UK. Thanks Adam!
