What a lovely, quaint place to stay. It’s very rural. The directions were easy to follow to get there. You need a car to get about from The Stables. The room was cosy, comfortable, very clean and warm. The shower was powerful. There are some nice pubs to eat in just a short drive away. We stayed there for two nights whilst we went to the NEC which was only a short drive away.

We love Solihull, we visit once a year every year, it's around 2 and a half hours from where we live. We've met some great friends down there, love the bowling community, always had good expertstaying in the area, finding places to eat and lots of helpful people

Solihull is a well-to-do town close to Birmingham, its airport and Conference Centre. Excellent shopping, it even has a John Lewis in the main shopping Centre, Torchwood! Plenty of restaurants and pubs and all within walking distance of the Hotel.

Tons of things to do for all ages.
Tons of things to do for all ages. Everything in walking distance. Close to two of the best parks in the West Midlands. Extremely relaxing. Great quality of food and great variety. Right be a great cinema. Train station near by can get you into Birmingham, Warwick, or Statford-upon-Avon quickly, so can stay and do all the West Midlands has to offer.

The old town has changed beyond recognition.
The old town has changed beyond recognition. Empty shops except for charity shops and 'The Mall', The quality of goods on sale rather poor unless you shop in one of the Pound Shops, John Lewis or Apple. 30 years has impacted negatively on the old Town, M & S gone, House of Fraser, good manners all gone, litter in the streets, even the coffee shops had dirty tables, litter on the floor, sad. Excuse my sarcasm in the next question

Sollihull has a lot to offer in things to do. The local National Institute (Baddesley Clinton) has 2 places to visit in a short driving distance with plenty of walking around the properties. There are restaurants within walking and short driving distances as well as grocery stores.

Didn't really see the place.
Didn't really see the place. We were there for an exhibition nearby. There are planty of good restuarants nearby. Just as well because the Regency Hotel restuarant was expensive and not very good.

I have spoken to the lady at the front desk but as of yet nothing as been done, I stayed in room 101 and when I arrive in the room it looked like it hadn’t been hoovered I went down quickly to get something to eat before the bar stopped food orders, came back up to find toilet was muck stained the water wouldn’t go down sink or shower empty loo roll no coffee in the tray I went back to reception and couldn’t find anyone. Bed was clean. Towels were wet over a week and no reply from village hotels
Room are fair size but not clean as expected. Location is good. restaurants and supermarkets are on walking distance. Free parking available which is good. Other hotels near by are cheaper and very clean e.g Village hotel.
Cheaper room than the budget hotel chains in Solihull and pretty much the same level of room and hotel. Breakfast was included in our room price and was abundant although hashbrowns were burnt. Friendly staff.
Really great hotel to stay in. I was in Solihull for a business trip and this hotel was just at the start of town so walking distance to where I needed to be. Covid safety measures were adhered to well by all.
