The property is nice and well maintained. Our kids were able to run around in the garden to burn some energy off.

I cannot recommend Slough itself.
I cannot recommend Slough itself.
However, the surrounding areas are excellent ... walks along the river to Windsor, the proximity of Burnham Beeches (woodland, not sea and sand), the River Thames close by, ...

Friendliest part of London I have been to.
Friendliest part of London I have been to. People were extremely friendly, helpful with guiding me where I wanted to go. I don’t usually receive this sort of friendly and helpful people anywhere else Iv been. People in other areas usually have miserable faces and just dont want to talk or help with directions. Usually more of a rush here, rush there sort of feeling. Extremely Fast Paced. Slough seemed to be a lot calmer.

Sloughs location around Windsor and Heathrow makes it perfect if you need to be in those areas. We planned on visiting Legoland and London but wanted to stay in a quiet neighbourhood. Slough has everything you need for a short stay (shops, restaurants etc). Shopping malls here aren't great, but you can get to those in London fast and cheap with the tube.

We didn't see much of slough, hotel on the outskirts of the town.
I booked a room for myself and my son ,upon arrival to breakfast, the hotel staff informed me that only one breakfast was included in our stay which I found very strange they said it was an issue with booking.com not the hotels doing.
I had to pay extra for my sons breakfast every day and we were also charged extra to use the pool facilities which I found strange also.

I am writing to inform you that we will be vacating the property earlier than planned, within the next hour. Despite our previous communications regarding problems encountered during our stay, these issues have not been satisfactorily resolved. Additionally, we are now facing a malfunctioning shower regulator, which has made it impossible for us to maintain basic hygiene. This series of unresolved problems has significantly impacted our experience and falls well below the standards expected.
This situation is unacceptable, and we are considering further actions to address our dissatisfaction. We will be returning the keys to the designated area as we leave. I would appreciate your prompt attention to these matters, and I look forward to discussing a possible resolution.

Location is relatively good. In fact one can walk 20-25 mins to Eton (to see Eton college) which continues +5-10 minutes into Windsor (with the beautiful Windsor castle). Walking to Slough train station is about 15 mins. There is a McDonalds not far and few pizzerias. Not many great options for good coffee, though. This home has indeed a common area with big TV and books. A kitchen (had not seen any filter or pod coffee machine) and an outdoor barbecue area are available.
Exceptionally nice place to stay. Private, quiet, safe, plenty of parking (free), beautiful bedroom (though not large), bathroom (quite large), separate lounge area for guests (which we used to read). And the room was pre-warmed prior to our arrival. And hugely important was the proprietor was on-site and showed us to the room and explained things. We originally picked the location (Slough) as it was easy to get to Heathrow for a flight the next day.
Bed was very comfy, room nice and spacious, bathroom nice. staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast selection is great and really good value. Great location and a perfect hotel for work/business in Slough.
Very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast menu had full English to cereal and toast available.
Convenient for Slough, Windsor, Eton etc without being too expensive.
The price was good when you consider the price of hotels nearer to the airport.if you arrive at terminal 5 the local bus stop 7 to Slough get off at the hotel,I think the bus was 703 flight rider.
