The hotel is not suitable for kids despite having very limited times for kids to use the pool which makes you feel like they're being tolerated rather than feeling welcome. The locals using the pool and sauna were friendly and chatty and noted their surprise that kids are allowed to use the pool. The garden outside with play area was evidently not looked after and our kids played only for a couple of minutes there. The restaurant food was very good and we both enjoyed a very nice meal there. But that's not enough to make a great family stay.

I liked how nice and remote it was the peace and quite and the lovely surroundings very unquie and picturous. Definitely will be returning and would like to go longer next time. I liked how the restaurants and takeaway on hand and deliver to your barn.

Excellent location, very private, view out over open countryside. Stepping from the french windows straight into the countryside. No people around, just lots of wildlife and birdsong. Close to many North Kent nature reserves (within a half hour drive)

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at Watercress Barns.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at Watercress Barns. The balcony apartment was very well equipped, bright and comfortable. Perfect for our 3 nights stay. There are some good local pubs in close by villages serving great food. Very easy to access the accommodation from M2 and M20 too.

The location was brilliant, quiet and not far from sittingbourne 9 min drive. The accommodation was very clean, lovely shower, but the star of the show was the bed. it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. If you want a good no a great nights sleep, this is the place to go. I did not sample the breakfast 7am-9am which was too early for me, however a microwave and kettle are provided for lazy people..lol

Lovely country hotel. Beautifully designed throughout. The superior rooms were stunning. Lovely comfortable beds. The double bathroom was beautiful. All really clean. The food in the lakeside restaurant was delicious. Staff very tentative and friendly all throughout. We also used the spa. The treatments were lovely. The gym and pool also very well kept.

Excellent host who could not have been more helpfful. Comfortable very well equipped flat in a nice quiet area and with its own off road parking space. Handy for the Medway towns and north Kent attractions. One of the best self catering venues we have used.
