For its size, Seahouses has much to offer visitors. There is a good choice of restaurants and cafes and a few other shops to spend some time in on a rainy day. I really enjoyed having a drink in the Cabin bar of the Olde Ship Inn. A nice fire, chatty locals and interesting decor.

The harbour was picturesque and easy to book excellent informative boat trips to such places as Farne and Holy island. There are plenty of good places to eat from fish and chips to Italian and Indian high quality restaurants There is easy access by car to Bambugh castle and beach as well as Alnwick castle and gardens

Loved the town, harbor and sea.
Loved the town, harbor and sea. The houses are lovely and most have flowers and/or decorations. We toured Bamburgh castle, and took a boat ride to view birds, islands, and seals. It was an awesome tour. We would like to come back some time. It is a little tight driving but most people are careful and courteous. Walking is great. Views are amazing.

The Beach House Hotel is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Everything is brand new and super clean. The management team "Jay " and his staff were friendly, professional, and caring, whilst they gave an amazing service.
The rooms were lovely, and the bed and breakfast could not be faulted 10/10. It was excellent and far better than most hotels I've ever stayed in.
They are far more than a 3* hotel, and I will definitely return 🤍
Excellent place full of quirky items, friendly people and very cosy. Ask to see the "museum" on the first floor. Near to the local shops, the harbour and the sea views are lovely. Seahouses a good base for touring the area.
Lovely cosy cottage with beautiful decor in a really central location for Seahouses’ harbour, pubs and shops. Very comfy beds and furnishings, and everything was high quality and very clean. Will definitely be back!
