The staff are very friendly and helpful and can't do enough for you. The breakfast is excellent and we had the small plates in the bar which I highly recommend. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and it has a small lift for those of us who don't like the stairs. If you don't want a chain hotel and want to feel you're welcome then this is the place.

Lovely little Town, lots to do, beautiful beach, amenities good, friendly atmosphere.
We went to see Deacon Blue at the outdoor arena, good facilities there as well and within walking distance of the hotel
From the moment we walked through the door we were given a very friendly, warm welcome, offered a hot drink, rooms were clean and comfortable, very spacious. Breakfast was one of the best we have had. We all felt that we had been going there for years, perfect host! So happy with our stay were going back again, we have been going to Scarborough at least 3 times a year for many years and The Gorden is one, if not, the best hotel we have stayed in and we would be reluctant to stay elsewhere. 🥰
The location was central as the name suggests and it was great for getting around Scarborough. The staff were very friendly and did their best when interacting. The Hotel looks like its in transition and the kitchen was having a refurb and although a little dated it was clean and comfortable.
Great hotel with a wonderful stylish vibe in the best location in Scarborough. It’s geared to walkers, cyclists and dog owners without sacrificing style and comfort. The cocktail bar and restaurant have great menus. Possibly the best in central Scarborough.
