Saltburn is a beautiful village and one we keep returning to. Full of quirky shops, wine bars, cafe's and places to eat. Beautiful beaches and a short rides to the moody moors.............what else would you want ?? Jewel in the North the North East coast is unbelievably beautifully and Saltburn just adds to it !

    Saltburn is a hidden gem.

Saltburn is a hidden gem. Forget Whitby go straight to Saltburn and get everything you need for a coastal holiday without even moving the car. There are many trendy bars and eateries, a supermarket, train station and many other little shops. The beach is gorgeous and the water not so deep so you can safely walk out into the sea. It has a pier, amusement arcade, paddle board hire, fish and chips etc etc. Walk the Cleveland Way. We love it. Definitely going back again.

Lovely area we know and love it well. Town itself has everything you need including some fantastic fish and chips. Then you are so close to Staiths and Whitby if you want to explore the coast or the beautiful North York Moor if you go in land

Can't really fill this in as there was an event on in the town and car parking was very difficult and time limited, so we didn't see any of the town itself other than a short walk along the beach front. The Tramway from Beach to Town has been closed from 1st May 2024 for Maintenance, otherwise you have to walk up the steep slopes

The room was excellent and the service was friendly. The menu was good and could be varied if required. This hotel has probably got one of the best views on the Yorkshire coast. Our Wedding Anniversary was during our stay and a the reception staff helped me with a floral surprise for my wife.
