The location was perfect for what we needed. The living area seemed lovely although we didn't really use it and the bed was comfy, even though we had to pull it out from the wall so we could both get in!

We visited for a family wedding at Bassmead Manor so didn’t eat out in St Neots. There were several shops, some small and independent which is good. We did notice great cafes for breakfast/lunch and a good footpath by the river for riverside walks. Steve’s Taxis provided excellent customer service to and from the venue at very reasonable prices.

Saint Neots is a lovely little village on a long river with boating and walking on offer in the area. The other advantage is it's proximity to Cambridge which is also beautiful. A wonderful place to visit.

Ate at the Snooty Tavern which was very good, and Aunties Thai where the food was a bit mixed and disappointing after reading so many good reviews.

Lovely place to stay, lovely old places to go too, small museum in St.Neats, the riverside/park has a restrant come tea/rooms, friendly staff, and a nice walk.
clothes shops/.Eaton-Socon the next village has a working Lock nice walks, and a nice friendly Pub by the water, family and pet friendly place to visit.
Breakfast was very good. The disapointing point is that the room was very dusty, the lamp shade had lots of dust, the mirrors where not clean. The hotel look was very good but attention to detail let's it down. The yellow sofa in the dining area had pockets of dirt in the recessed buttons which looked bad. The staff were great as was the food. More attention on the cleaning though would improve score overall.
