The position for me to get to the ferry port. As I was only staying for one night I only manage to walk to the local village which had restaurants if you wanted one.I had a meal on the ferry because time was short.

great location for a weekend break away from kids/job/routine and time to take stock of life. We;d hoped to enjoy visiting the local beach and do some coastal walks ........ but the persistent horizontal rain put paid to that so fortunately we'd brought some sporty gear so could make good use of the gym. The property charges £10 for being shown the equipment in the gym ( compulsory ) which i did think a little cheeky but if it prevents time-wasting and meaning the gym is only being frequented by people actually wanting to use it then maybe its a good thing

Booked a room at the hotel , went to check in to find out we were double booked and no room at Hotel. was put in a caravan, a dirty caravan with so many spiders on the ceiling. Staff weren't helpful or apologetic at all. Facilities weren't nice restaurant had stains all over carpet. Not a good place to keep kids entertained. Really needs some money put into site.

We had to charge room in the middle of the night as there...
We had to charge room in the middle of the night as there was a baby crying for 2 hours. I called the security manager (John) and he assisted us. He checked to see if there was any rooms available. We changed room and the service was amazing. I checked out late too.

The location of this hotel is great for access to the car ferry and eurotunnel, only a 5 minute drive into Dover. The hotel is clean, spacious room with tea/ coffee making facilities which we find important. There is an on site restaurant which serves lovely meals, you won't leave the table hungry!! We didn't have breakfast so can't comment.
Overall we would recommend this hotel/ resort.
we went to a wedding nearby and hotel was walking distance to it . good size room - comfortable bed, shower worked well. young adult children had plenty to do for day onsite before joining us for evening all of which ( apart from gym induction - only £5) was inclusive of our stay . food in the boathouse bar was really, really good - I’d drive back here just to eat there again
This is a very friendly holiday camp, in which the hotel is situated. The facilities are excellent, the staff made us feel very welcome and everybody we spoke to loved the place! The room was clean with plenty of room.
The lady who welcomed us on arrival at reception was very friendly. The room we stayed in was clean and an adequate size for our 1 night stay. There are parking spaces right outside the hotel.
The pool and spa area was great and very clean. Hotel was very clean , staff were very helpful. Overall very happy with our stay wich was for a late valentines day celebration .
