This traditional country hotel is located in beautiful woodland, on the edge of the New Forest. It has a large garden, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi, 20 minutes’ drive from Bournemouth.

The staff were very good and breakfast was exceptional. The hotel was very clean however, the room was past it's sell by date, the window frames were rotting, the furniture was very dated. I felt for the staff as they were trying to maintain it to a high standard, they deserved a better place to run

We enjoyed the hotel, we only had breakfast there because we were with my dear aunty most of the time but at breakfast, Sarah was fantastic looking after our every need
St Leonards was a great place to stay. Staff friendly & helpful. Everything spotlessly clean. Bedroom was roomy, everything we needed for an overnight stay. We ate in restaurant, food was good, breakfast even better. Lots of choice. Plenty of quality fresh fruit. Huge car park and field behind pub. Would definitely return

Excellent stay.
Excellent stay. We have a dog and the hotel is very dog friendly. There is a big garden for them to run in and we were able to take him into the bar when we went for our evening meal. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The food is beautiful. The room was clean and spacious. Everything you need for an overnight stay, it’s just a shame we were only there one night.

The room itself was functional, but the wardrobe door didn’t open so we hung our clothes on the outside - wasn’t a major issue as it was only 1 night’s stay.
We decided to pay the extra £7.99 each for breakfast, but having then eaten in the restaurant, that evening before we went out, decided to cancel the breakfast!
Very little GF options except for steaks/gammon, so I had the gammon, although I really only wanted something light. It was quite greasy and mediocre.
They only had a very limited wine selection available - presume that was a supplier issue as plenty on the menu, just not available!
All in all we’d potentially stay a night again, as it’s close to our relatives, but just as somewhere to rest and not eat.

Breakfast buffet style was great with plenty of choice and well stocked, self-service tea/coffee available. Early start at 7am breakfast for working visitors until 10am for those relaxing on holiday. Dinners were good with prompt service and attentive staff. Room was spacious and quiet except for self-closing room doors which shut sharply at last second and noisily.

Great dog friendly hotel in a really good location for exploring the surrounding areas. Room had doors that opened up onto the garden which was an added bonus. Will definitely stay here again.
