The staff on the reception and facilities were very friendly and helpful. There was reasonable car parking space near enough to the hotel as it is a busy car park with workmen and people stopping off to get the local fast foods that are available and petrol within the complex of the car park and fuel station. The furniture was matching and everywhere was clean. Snacks and drinks available at the reception.

Good options for breakfast and a great location in the heart of Huntington in a historic coaching inn. The property is about to undergo a major restoration, so I was happy to stay before the updating.
Boasting excellent transport links, this contemporary-style 4-star hotel is set on the outskirts of Huntingdon, just minutes away from the A14, linking to the M11 southbound and the A1(M) north.

Loved the pool, sauna, hot tub area. It was my anniversary and I asked the front desk if they did anything decor wise. They placed rose petals on the bed and had 2 cupcakes waiting for us in the room upon arrival. Breakfast selection was good and not alot of people were there. Parking lot is big and free!

St. Ives is a very clean historic town with lots of small shops on the main streets and in Mews developments nearby. The worst thing about the visit was all the graffiti along side the guided bus way to Cambridge.

The town is very picturesque, nice walks down by the river. There is a cycle path that runs all along the busway, from St Ives to Cambridge. This is flat, completely traffic-free and about 15 miles each way.

We were going to St Ives for the annual and amazing Old Riverport Jazz and Blues Festival - now in its 9th year - four days of free !!! awesome bands which coincides with the Heritage Open day in St Ives.
Because the music was hosted for free it meant everyone had a bit more money available to pay to get to St Ives and / or to have a bit of treat. St Ives has the perfect medieval layout for such an event and the weather was perfect for the outdoor music events. Discovering the quirky venues in such a beautiful historical riverside town was a real joy, and the quality of the muscians made it a genuinally special bit of magic.

Lovely little riverside town with plenty of amenities.
Lovely little riverside town with plenty of amenities. Some great restaurants, we'd recommend Di Ritas Italian, and the Hambleton Bakery (next door to Waitrose).
We had a charter trip on the Electric Boat company, and that's 5Star! You must try it, but book in advance.

I like the mix of little shops and cafes, and there are lovely walks by the river and beyond. We enjoyed the fabulous food at the Italian restaurant on the waterfront, and its a good idea to book, it’s very popular. It’s very easy to get around, with a lot of paved walk ways, and we walked everywhere. I was disappointed in the amount of larger shops that have closed, but sadly this is the same in many small towns, so I am not being critical of St Ives.

Location was beautiful and St Ives is very interesting. We stop in the area as its half way for us.
the bedroom although advertised small I was surprised at the size and the bathroom ( in the cupboard )not a lot of room if the door was closed.
