Not The Hilton but the room was very cheap. Everything was as stated in the description, plus a very big TV. Location is great as it's only a couple of hundred metres from St Helens Central. BE CAREFUL NOT TO GO TO ST HELLENS JUNCTION IF COMING FROM MANCHESTER AIRPORT.
The hotel is superbly located, just off junction 23 of the M6 motorway, next to Haydock Park Racecourse, and serves as a gateway to the entire North West region.

Saint Helens appears to be a quiet and safe suburb of Liverpool, about 30 minutes drive form the centre of Liverpool. Majority are residential houses. There is one REALLY SCUMMY little corner shop just off the main road running through Saint Helens but I wouldn't go there unless you are desperate.

An absolute disgrace of a place dirty smelly room not cleaned. kitchen filthy booked 2 rooms couldn’t get in the second room as no one knew the code had to book else where due to how dirty it was. Rooms an kitchen nothing like the pics on the booking.com

Never again will I recommend this to family & friends it was dirty wardrobe sink floor pillow case that has all over it I am waiting for my £100 damage as i wasnt there that much as the kitchen was disgreatful the smart TV only exepted uk cards so had could not log they sent a boy with a ariel that done nothing at all
I also am waiting for a double booking deposit of £174 paid on the 24th April yes so quick to take & not received this is a joke taking my money yet not helping me get it back. So I had no tv no heating I should blame & adk for my money back as the Parkview, I have stayed there a few times. You have a Kettle tea bag ect so easier not haing to ask for my money back , this has to be said as I think its so unfair the way I've been treated

We were staying in St Helens only to miss out on congestion/lack of parking in Liverpool. Took local bus to train station, thereafter train return St Helens to Liverpool. Journey simple and inexpensive.

Polite and friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. The perfect requirements for me. Breakfast was lovely we opted for continental but fry up was optional.
Swimming available if required.
The beds where not to my liking due to spine surgery but my granddaughter was happy. The price was fair.
Would recommend this as a good place to stay.

Hotel is a real gem - perfect location - bus to St.
Hotel is a real gem - perfect location - bus to St. Helens from almost outside the venue. First class facilities - great staff - good size single rooms (I stayed in both of them over a two week period) great ensuite facilities - great all round - perfect choice - so much better (and much cheaper) than the Mercure Hotel in St. Helens.
Stayed here for work so only sightseeing was in Liverpool on the Saturday following my checking out.

I would rate my stay at the Eccleston Arms highly and commend Claire for her exceptional customer service. She went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met and made my experience memorable.
Room spacious, clean, well fitted, v comfortable bed.
Very good dinner, service was spot on . Sharer starter and steaks well cooked and delivered promptly even though large Rotary group also in hotel at same time.
Would use again.
