Absolutely Loved the hotel ,my only
Disappointment was all comfortable chairs and sofa’s especially in from of the fire in the Foyer ,had no bar /coffee available.
The down stairs bar not very comfortable at all .
When we going to a wedding the restaurant was empty but it only did food and we could
Not
Sit there either .
Went to the 4th floor bar to be told they would need to see if there was space .
Fortunately there were a few bar stools but what would it be like if
It was a full capacity ?

This was our third trip to St. Andrews and it was wonderful!
This was our third trip to St. Andrews and it was wonderful! So many nice restaurants, things to see, few of the nearby towns that we visited are really very charming ( Crail, Ansthruters) but St. Andrews in itself is a little gem with the ruins of a 14th century Cathedral on the beach, the Castle and the vibe of the town with all the university students. It is just fantastic! It is definitely worth a visit .. or two. Not even talking about the world well known golf course where you can practice even if this is your first time. So , I would definitely recommend that you book a visit! I am sure that you'll enjoy it very much! And if you have a child attending the University, it even gets better!

It was quite difficult understanding the traffic flow in the city. There were quite a few bottlenecks. Not the easiest place to drive into or out of. The signage needs to be reviewed as soon as possible.
It also would be better not to go in Freshers week for the students of the University.

Great town filled with so much to explore.
Great town filled with so much to explore. Fantastic restaurants, coffee shops, shops, bakeries, you name it! And the architecture! You could look around you forever. Walks along the beach, visit a castle and abbey all within the town. Oh, did I mention a world famous golf course? St Andrews has enough to keep you busy for weeks.

The hotel was lovely. Our room overlooked the 18th Fairway on the Old Course with views over the beach and sea, and towards the Old Course Hotel and Swilkin Bridge. The room itself was spacious and had a massive bathroom. The staff were all polite, friendly, courteous and professional.
Perfect position for the town and golf course. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and the staff were excellent examples of what good customer service should be
