A beautifully presented property, set within idilic boundaries, private with easy access to the town, great for nature lovers, and walkers. Beaumont Mews is exceptional in many ways, waking up to a skylight, natural views from the large floor to ceiling glass walls. It’s romantic, it’s peaceful it’s a vibe. Loved the area.

Loved the area. Such a sweet little town with exceptionally friendly residents. Many sites to visit, beautiful buildings, some cure cafes. On Saturday there is a market worth checking in. You can walk through the town, no car needed. Many taxis available. Worth travelling for the whole day.

I visited to learn more about the area, in particular the Cathedral and St. Albans' Roman origins. I'd encourage others to visit the Cathedral (no entrance charge but voluntary donations encouraged) and all the museum/heritage locations (Town Hall, Verulamium Roman Museum, Theatre etc.). The V. Roman Museum is fascinating and well presented.

A charming, characterful town, full of interesting shops, plenty of restaurants to choose from, and pubs galore! Of course the jewel in the crown is the cathedral, which is most impressive. Well worth a visit, but be prepared for the constant traffic jam up Holywell Hill.

St. Albans is a large town/ small city, with a good number of interesting old buildings, including a medieval bell tower, and several museums, including the excellent museum of Roman artefacts on the far side of the large park which drops down from the cathedral. The cathedral is a must if you are into old buildings, with its Norman tower made from Roman bricks among many other features. I was also made very welcome when I joined them for worship. The town has very good pubs, cafes and restaurants, and an extensive street market on certain days. The town itself probably merits a leisurely weekend stay if you enjoy lingering in the cafes, but the Thameslink trains make a day in London very easy, and, if you like old planes, a visit to the De Havilland museum ( no. 84 bus from the town centre ) is well worth it ( rather long walk up the drive from the bus stop, but there is parking at the museum if you take your car. )

Fantastic stay from start to finish; staff were welcoming and professional. The whole place felt well maintained and comfortable. The spa area was excellent and not too crowded. We didn’t book any treatments though. The gym was better than you would find in most hotels. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice, including vegan and gluten free options.

Beautiful room (we were in one of the newly refurbished rooms). The staff were very pleasant and personable. The room was spotless, the shower was one of the best I’ve ever had and the towels were soft and fluffy. The area surrounding the hotel was lovely, friendly and safe.
