The Owner gave clear instructions and the property was as we expected to find it.
The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. We liked the bathroom and appreciated the little drying area.
It was a nice touch to find milk and orange juice in the fridge.

Really nice house in central location. Lovely decor and all the facilities you need. Thank you for putting up a Xmas tree. Also a visitor parking permit was very handy.

We needed to be in the vicinity and but for the appalling weather that weekend I could have spent a few hours happily looking round, but I wouldn't choose Rugby as a place to visit. However, the Draycote Hotel is such good value and so well situated that I would stay there again as a base for places nearby.

There are some wonderful quirky shops in Rugby and the laneways and buildings have wonderful architect and history. Wonderful bookshop in the city centre, worth just going in to experience how they fit so much into the shop.
Dalias bistro is also a unique place to go and eat, the food is very good and it is family run which makes a difference.
So much to see if you just go exploring.

It was about 20 years since I had been to Rugby. Lots of changes, but the main shopping streets seem to be doing okay, certainly in comparison to other towns of similar size that I have visited recently. Whilst there are lots of fast food shops, nail bars, barbers and charity shops, there is also a good selection of restaurants, cafés and independent shop. There was also a small market in the centre on the Saturday morning. I suspect the presence of Rugby School brings significant benefits to the town.

Small market town full of character.
Small market town full of character. Suffers from empty shops in the town centre like everywhere else these days but still plenty of independents on Regent Street, Albert Street and the others in between. Out of town shopping at Elliots Field and Junction One is good. Lots of fantastic places to eat but particularly love Bacco Lounge, Satchmo's Corner, Quatre Vin and of course the original Casa Loco. Not forgetting live music at CV22 bar.

On booking we did not have a problem but in the last few days before arriving I had a knee problem and my husband a back problem on arrival the room was up a flight of stairs the bed far too soft and when sat on it it moved we asked for another room the bed a bit better but the ceiling very bad and windows awful, we felt too uncomfortable to stay as we only found out a few days before arrival that the restaurant and bar were not open and on looking around there were no restaurants or cafe in close proximity and I could not walk any distance, the wallpaper was coming off , so we informed them we were leaving to find a better hotel , the staff were difficult to understand , it needs a lot of work done to it before having guest we could not have a refund but a small amount would have been good

Hotel was clean and staff very professional and helpful.
We were in Rugby for a funeral and hotel ordered a taxi to pick us up at 10:30. This didn't turn up. David called a few times and when it still didn't arrive, he went over and above and took us himself. We just made it on time due to his kindness. This is how to encourage people to return. Thank you again David.
Friendly welcome. Nice lounge/reception. Decent sized single room, clean and functional. All essential facilities including tea & coffee, good shower: spacious, hot and powerful. Nice breakfast (not included), Ideal location for Rugby Town centre, parking available. Free wi-fi.
Very modern apartment, clean and with good size rooms. Great fast WiFi which is an added bonus, close to rugby town centre and train station. Exceeded expectations by a long way and will be staying again for sure, highly recommended
The Carlton was a very pleasant stay, clean and comfortable, with everything we required. We only stayed for the one night, but would return if we were needing a hotel in the area again.
Amazing stay at Apart hotel rugby while working away, extremely clean with a perfect small kitchen to make it a home away from home, with very nice owners. Would highly recommend.
