It was like being in rehab as there was no signal on mobiles but also no wifi there at all. Also tv in the room didn't work as there was no wifi. Also no good for disabled as to many steps or a very steep hill.

Lovely traditional town with good shops, cafes and riverside walks. Art trail coincided with our stay. Shame the central hall was covered in scaffolding. Visited the church and its craft works. Good food and service at the kings head. Would visit this relaxing and friendly town again. Exceeded our expectations.

Ross on Wye is a lovely small historic town nestled on a hill dominated by a tall church spire you can see as you pass by on the A40. In front of the church and to its right also see the Royal Hotel. Ross on Wye is very easy to get to as the A40 has major connections to the east and West making it perfect to to travel to and explore from.

There is plenty to see and do, whatever the age group. Younger and more active folk could enjoy a multitude of walks. We enjoyed the cities/ villages around. There are many historic castles etc to enjoy.
