Breakfast had plenty of choice and the best thing was the staff reacted straight away when anything ran out or didn’t work properly.
One slight quibble was perhaps another coffee machine as there was queuing most mornings . I am dairy free so maybe a filter coffee machine ?

It's sits just by Norden which suits me well as I have family close. The setting and tranquility make you want to stay even without the glitz and gloss. It's a lovely place and the little touches make a difference. The brekfast room chairs are heavy and well built, the tea pots in the room are pretty and not cheap - sounds odd but I like the fact you are treated like you are a family guest. Not given the cheap stuff incase you break it

I know the place from when it was a hospital and I loved that I could stay there in such a local iconic building. Instructions were clear, the apartment was lovely, clean, had all I needed and a Christmas tree!
Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were provided and it had everything you need, esp for alinger stay (i was only there 1 night). I Would definitely recommend it and will stay again.

My stay in Rochdale was brief. as my main plans were in Hebden bridge. The park next to the hotel was pretty & historocal. Over road was retail park. A short walk to local transport with many shops & food stops on the way.

We didn’t see much of it as we were at a wedding.

We did however have Dinner and Breakfast and it again was excellent.
It was a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful building. The decor in the restaurant was beautiful.
Apparently the original owner built the dining room for a young daughter’s birthday.
There is also an extra area that is cordoned of, however can be opened for more diners or a private party.
The reception bar before dining is enchanting old pub style.
We are looking to go back for another weekend in December as a treat.
We hope Chris will be on reception to meet us too!

Shops, bars and restaurants. River runs through the town centre under the road which is opened in parts so that you can see the river. The Flying Horse pub has excellent food with great choice on the menu and reasonably priced. Great choice of unique ales on offer too.

Rochdale exceeded expectations with its convenient location and warm atmosphere. The flat's comfort and thoughtful amenities, coupled with Muhammad's exceptional hosting, made the stay truly memorable. While parking could be a slight challenge, the overall experience was exceptional. A definite recommendation for anyone seeking a cozy home away from home.

Nice looking town we were going on the train at Bury, East Lancs Railway and the accommodation was nicely close and in the countryside. It was so quiet overnight not a sound. Didn’t have time to eat or look round the town but the meal on the train was excellent

Location was fantastic - a very peaceful place but close enough to get to town centre and lots of other places Accommodation was clean and comfortable . Breakfast was lovely - lots of choice . As we arrived back at the accommodation in the dark, after visiting family, it was lovely to see that the site was well lit. Lots of space for parking. Would definitely stay again .
