Easy to navigate around ringwood , everything was quite close together so was easy to get to everywhere, people were friendly and helpful , only thing I did not like was the very narrow lanes when you are not used to them .

We went into Ringwood on a Saturday and it was quite busy ( as expected). We were surprised at the number of "nice" shops there as opposed to charity shops etc.,
We were a little disappointed at the seemingly lack of signposts when we were trying to,complete walks around the outskirts but, nevertheless, managed to find our way about.
Also surprising was the number of car parks and not overly expensive either.....another bonus. AND you could insert cash to pay!! Yippee!!! Well done Ringwood!

Ringwood was the ideal spot to visit the New Forest and surrounds. The Moors Valley Country Park is a five minute drive away. You could spend a full two days here, there is so much to do.
You can also visit Paultons Park which is 30 mins drive or Beaulieu which is also 30 minutes away. It is only 20 mins drive to the south coast beaches.
Ringwood has good amenities - supermarket etc.

Ringwood is a nice little village, with several cafes and restaurants. It is well situated for making trips around the countryside, but a bit close to a very large road (=traffic noise). There is not much to do in Ringwood itself (we visited family there)

Ringwood is a mix of chocolate box and modern.
Ringwood is a mix of chocolate box and modern. Huge choice of eating options from everyday to extraordinary. some "sourdough" places Frampton's and Bake House 24 and more everyday like café Aroma all three were great. the hospitality in every restaurant or Pub we visited was spot on.
Masala Indian take away also highly recommended.
The Cellar really cool, great vibe on a Friday night.
Pubs! The Railway and the Elm Tree also recommended for food and Beer.
Ringwood Brewery also worth a visit.
It's a great base for walks down the Avon but beware if the river is high it will be wet.
The Castleman Trail way is just south of the town and offers easy access on foot to the New Forest both North and South.
If you have a Car then I recommend the Rose and Thistle in Rockbourne. A brilliant base for walks in stunning country side.
We were greated by Roger, who was fabulous we loved his sense of humour to the lack of WiFi after all we were in the middle of the new forest. Just very happy, the roaring fires and good beer on tap! The Breakfast is the best I've had in an BnB!! Infact better than most hotels! Amazing chef.
Dog friendly pub, cute cosy stay.
Accomodation was perfect, private and tastefully decorated. The hosts had thought of everything you could need. Spotlessly clean.
Very friendly and welcoming hosts.
The king size bed was exceptionally comfortable.
Great location for the New Forest and Ringwood is a nice town for shopping and eating out.
Very comfortable room with bathroom, everything very clean and cozy. They serve Thai food, I loved it. Furthermore, the location is a 3-minute walk from the bus stop. Very friendly and helpful staff, I will definitely book the hotel again if I have the opportunity to go to Ringwood.
super stay at the coach house. Karen was very friendly and helpful if needed. the accomodation was super comfy and spotlessly clean.
location was great..easy short walk into ringwood with cafes and dog friendly pub. I had great day trips to walks in new forest and on the coast.
Mark and Sabine were the best hosts anyone could hope for.Great nollage of the area. Lovely couple The breakfast is to die for and the property is excellent. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Ringwood area. We will definitely be booking here again. ❤️it.
