a great, quiet location for visiting north Wales.

a great, quiet location for visiting north Wales. Short distance to a pub/cafe or the main road, also able to walk to a supermarket and a couple of restaurant/takeaways. Has a historic castle, on a river.

A small town, the sort you could walk round in an hour. Some shops, a Spar, take aways and pubs, it has enough to occupy you for a short break. We had a take away from the Fei Von Chinese restaurant and it was lovely! The castle ruins we not open (opens March) so we couldn't walk round, but there are other walks in the area.

Lovely little place within walking distance of the castle and town. The castle is a must see and very interesting to read all the information around the site. Maps all around the town explain all the history and places of interest. Rhyl is a very short drive away even manageable on a push bike. The scenery is breathtaking.

For such a small village there are so many things to do and see. Obviously there is the castle but the ancient Twthill is right next door to it. Then there's the shops and restaurants, the Village Masala in particular is excellent and gets very busy. Not forgetting the river for a walk along the banks or maybe even a spot of fishing.

Well presented, warm, cosy and clean. Liked the layout of the property. Board games, jigsaws were available. Very nice gesture as host left a bottle of proseco on arrival. St Mary's had a craft fair on, and Rhuddlan Castle 5 mins up the road. Great local fish and chips at Pudding and Pie. We'll defo book again. Tony the host was on hand to answer any queries.
