Thank you - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - from the most delicious food, to the extremely friendly and helpful staff , thank you for making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The room was clean and tidy and the bed/ bedding very comfortable. The location and view outstanding. On arrival we found the room to be made up as twins, when a double room was booked , we were quickly given complimentary drinks, while staff remade the bed, many thanks.

One night stay. The room was good, slightly dated furniture, but comfortable. The bathroom looked as if it had recently been redone. Food was standard hotel fare. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. The location is a 15 minute walk into the centre of Greenock.

Stayed here a few times now and always enjoy it. It has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and the views from the bar out over the Clyde are a major bonus. The room was quite small, much of it taken up by the double bed, but it was comfortable and immaculately clean. Ate
there in the evening, very good steak sandwich. The staff are helpful and welcoming.

Attention to detail. Gary was welcoming and so accommodating after we arrived late due to a highway closure enroute. I liked the vintage touches in the room like the turntable! Luxurious towels and bedding too.

Friendly staff with comfortable and cosy bedrooms all unique and special. Views of the loch from breakfast. Able to check in after 10pm which was beneficial due to blocked motorways
Rhu is a quiet town with a few shops and facilities.
Rhu is a quiet town with a few shops and facilities. The view is amazing and we found a nice little beach walk we took a stroll around each evening. Only about 15 minute drive to Loch Lomond and other facilities. The Hill House was a nice little bonus.

Rhu is a beautiful place to visit and the people are so friendly the brae shop is amazing the lady there was very helpful and the Ross lea hall hotel is amazing food is to die for and staff a brilliant also they accept dogs too which is a bonus food is all cooked fresh and fresh muffins and other baking is yummy 😋 the food portions and excellent too

All the people we spoke to were very pleasant - and helpful with directions.Everywhere was clean ! It was easy to find our way around and redeveloped areas had obviously been done with great care and were ' people-orientated 'There are excellent places to eat offering a variety of cuisines at competitive prices.There is a small friendly cinema, at least one large park, an interesting ' outdoor museum ',leisure centre, boat trips and, of course " the prom " ..., and more ! Last but not least MacIntosh's " Hill House ".We had no trouble parking at the pier (but this was in October ) This is my 2nd visit and I hope to be back !

The local Clock Chimes constantly every hour and every 15 minutes thereafter causing interrupted sleeping issues.
Had we known about the clock we would not have stayed there.
In general the staff were very helpful. Except when there was a dog constantly barking for 20 minutes and no person in attendance.

We didn't stray from the hotel much as the weather was not very good, so it's difficult for us to give great insight, but as we love the sea it's great sea front views were very appealing to us. There were plenty of suggestions for things to do and places to visit to enhance our stay had we chosen to do so.

The accommodation was advertised as Rhu but was actually several miles south of Rhu at Helensburgh. This was false advertising and if I had known this I would not have booked it. The place was basically a run down council flat. I was very disappointed.
The staff were amazing, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable with our young child. The location is beautiful and picturesque. The room was large and had plenty of space for the full sized travel cot provided by the hotel.
The location really was excellent. The food, including the evening meal we had was very good. The staff were welcoming and so helpful and the hotel was spotless. We will definitely be going again.
