The Gypsy Caravan was truly something special, we loved our stay and the attention to detail was spot on. It even included a continental breakfast including croissants, tea, coffee, milk, butter,, jam, muesli, cornflakes, fruit and yoghurt all left out in a basket there was even oil for cooking, salt and pepper and everything you needed plus a microwave. The garden and outside facilities with chiminee and logs and kindling provided. The gypsy caravan was just beautiful with the tiniest, cosiest log burner that kept us warm all night. What a unique experience in its own garden…already planning to come back in summer. Thank you Miranda we loved it 🙂

Pwllheli was a great location for accessing the Llyn peninsula. Good bus service and well signposted roads. The streets are clean and pedestrian access to off road areas is very good with many walk ways around the town. The old town is charming and the beach/tourist area is fairly typical of a beach resort with very reasonably priced food etc. Victoria Hotel recommended Caffe Largo for breakfast which was an excellent choice and also very good anytime of day. I enjoyed excellent coastal walking using Pwllhehi as my base.

Pwllheli is ideally placed for launching to explore the Peninsula, however the town centre is a bit sparse for nice eating and drinking establishments by comparison to Abersoch or Criccieth. The beach is lovely, long and empty, clean sand. The harbour is large and very pretty but not much night life around it.
Ejoyable for one night. plenty of amenities.

Pwllheli is a lively little town where Welsh is spoken by most people. Ideal for getting the train down the Cambrian Coast to Criccieth, Porthmadog, Harlech, Barmouth and Machynlleth. All local buses to Llyn - to Abersoch, Aberdaron begin Market Square Pwllheli so if you are without a car you can explore the area and coast.

The house is so well equipped and comfortable, we were there in a cold spell but it was lovely and warm. The beds were like sleeping on clouds, the standard of all equipment was very good. Only a short distance to shops.

Pwllheli is a lovely place to visit.
Pwllheli is a lovely place to visit. Lots of shops which include two supermarkets, a few banks, chemist and gift shops. There are plenty of places to eat in and various takeaways to get fish and chips, pizza and kebabs etc. Parking isn't an issue as there is a pay and display car park in the centre of the town and various other places to park for free. Parking on the High Street is free only time restricted. For the children there is a small fair which boasts a few rides and an arcade. There is a market once a week which is held in the pay and display car park. The beach is worth a visit too.

Although quite stoney, there is a long, wide beach forming a large bay. There is also a pleasant sea-front promenade that runs the length of the beach. There is a marina, but didn't appear to be accessible to the general public, so unfortunately you can't wander round looking at the boats, more like a boatyard for mooring your own vessel. There is a nice wooded walk that takes you through the golf course and round its perimeter, you can make it a circular walk back via the housing estate.
The local golf club is open to the general public for food and drink, but we ate at Dylan's in Criccieth and a Gwesty pub south of the peninsula, self-catering the remainder of the time.

Smart presentation and attention to detail in furnishings and accessories. Spotlessly clean and super comfortable. Wonderful views from the decking at the rear. Within walking distance of Pwllheli town and the marina. Surprisingly quiet despite its location on one of the main roads out of town (even on a bank holiday weekend). Perfect base for exploring the Lleyn peninsula.
Lots of facilities like washing machine, great heating all recently replaced, just perfect, great garden too although we didn’t use due to it being April. Good TV and more importantly Wifi. Even space for my so to revise for his GCSE’s as we were her for his sailing at Pwllheli.
The cottage was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The milk, tea bags, Welsh cakes and Prosecco were a lovely additional treat. We loved the location. Beautiful view of the marina and less than 10 minutes stroll to Pwllheli town centre.
Can’t recommend this place enough. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the accommodation is extremely comfortable and well appointed. Beautiful setting in the middle of nowhere yet only ten minutes from the centre of Pwllheli.
Very good location for within Pwllheli town itself and well situated to explore the Lleyn Peninsula. The beds were very comfortable , also a good powerful shower and the kitchen had decent facilities to prepare meals.
