All the staff were lovely - reception, bar, chef and the owner - everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodate our every need. Incredible attention to detail. The meal was delicious - seasonal and creative. The breakfast is incredible - best I’ve had and well worth every penny. Lovely fresh fruit and amazing menu choice of cooked options. Just perfect.

A truly beautiful and unique place. We stayed in one of the lodges, which was lovely and secluded. A short walk through the vines and we were at the restaurant, with superb food and wine. Friendly staff and good location near Gloucester and Newent - a lovely small market town. We had a great stay.

The breakfast was excellent. It was necessary for me to change the time of breakfast and the staff were perfectly understanding and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom perfect.

Stayed for 2 days to visit some dog friendly castles with my 14 year old daughter. Our host called the day before with instructions and some helpful bits of advice. We arrived and everything was as promised, very clean and well maintained. The shower and toilet room were very clean and the shower was very powerful and hot.
Dogs were well thought of and our little dog had zoomies the whole time in the fenced off garden. There's a bbq and camping stove so cooking was easy and very easy to clean up afterwards. We would love to visit here again and the area itself is beautiful and super dog friendly also.
