We were delighted by the coziness of this quaint inn. The towels were large and soft, they had a hand-crafted tea set in the room, the breakfast was all-we-could-eat with breads, pastries, yogurt, cereal, juices, etc., with a complementary selection of hot breakfasts such as the full Scottish and smoked Haddock with poached egg.

The property was well situated to be able to to easily tour the Isle of Islay. The Glenegedale House is set-up so that you can either socialize with other guests or maintain your privacy. Graeme and Emma are amazing hosts who look after all of your needs. On top of that the breakfast and the dinner served by them was by far the best food we have eaten in recent memory.

The host, Thomas, was wonderful. The room was really comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was especially great with a separate tub and heated floors. The location is beautiful, and the living room is a great spot to spend the evening. To top it off, Thomas made our breakfast the night before so we could take it with us to catch the morning ferry. Above and beyond our expectations.
