Gannets Rest - Spacious Static Caravan with Sea Views, hotel in Polperro

Offering a casino, Gannets Rest - Spacious Static Caravan with Sea Views provides accommodations in Polperro.

The caravan was of an excellent standard, every little detail catered for with lovely finishing/homely touches. We only used it as a base to visit friends locally for a couple of nights but could have easily spent longer there. We didn't use the park facilities as we had other plans to occupy our time.

Beautiful location. Lovely clean rooms. Fresh milk for tea. Honesty bar. Good food although limited menu at night. Friendly staff. Breakfast staff and kitchen staff were amazing. It's just what a pub should be. No glaring lights or rowdy music. Beautiful views from terrace. Sadly had to cut holiday short due to illness.

    A lovely friendly fishing village.

A lovely friendly fishing village. Several good pubs for food, especially the Blue Peter. Our visit was in midwinter, in the teeth of a storm, so warm welcome in pubs was appreciated. Because of the weather, a short visit to see the waves crash against the harbour wall was as adventurous as we got, but cliff paths and beaches would’ve been lovely.

    Such a lovely village.

Such a lovely village. Lots of quaint shops, restaurants and pubs, all friendly and inviting. My favourite stop is the museum tea house, I could sit there for hours, watching the world go by. The Three Pilchards has a lovely terrace where you can sit eat and drink, but the its a climb to the top level! The Blue Peter have wonderful food, all made in such a small kitchen, how do they do it! The House on Propts restaurant is a lovely place for a intimate meal friendly staff and wonderful food. The Ship Inn also has fabulous food and a carvery on Sundays but book up as it is very popular. Would highly recommend Polperro. Public toilets were not very clean and charge 50p .

unfortunately The tram that used to run between the car park and the beach, no longer runs, which is a shame as its a long walk, and up hill on the way back. There doesn't appear to be much help if you are disabled, parking is very expensive £20 a day!!! The pubs are good and not OTT with the prices. Will go again i hope.

The property was in excellent condition and had fantastic views of the harbour, town and sea, the road down to the village is very steep so you will need to be fairly fit, Polperro is now my favourite place in Cornwall.

    Lovely location, very picturesque.

Lovely location, very picturesque. Plenty of places to grab food and drinks. Parking is only available in the main car park which might seem pricy but I was happy to pay £40 there for the week (machines only take coins, no card). Ideal for getting up onto the SW Coast path and public transport was good.

The property was quaint, welcoming and pretty. The hosts were exceptional and very accommodating. Breakfast was first class and our dog was made to feel most welcome. Polperro is a pretty village and perfect for exploring the surrounding areas. Added bonus that we got to check in early and had a permit for the car park.

A superb property in the centre of Polperro, extremely well kitted out and decorated, and only 2 minutes walk to each of the local hostelries and restaurants we visited. There is nothing to dislike about this property!
