Set in the picturesque market town of St Ives, Cambridgeshire, The Golden Lion Hotel, St Ives, Cambridgeshire is a delightful 18th Century Coaching Inn steeped in charm and history.

Reception and booking in was very pleasant and efficient. The room was warm. The bar and evening meal staff were great. The evening meals were really good and they had a nice beer on draught. The shower was too hot or cold; no in-between. The walls are paper thin, meaning I could hear phone calls, taps and toilet visits of next door rooms during the night. Windows and curtains are basic, so I heard people walking past from early morning. Breakfast was lovely.
