The staff at reception and in the bar and restaurant were excellent. Helpful, professional and always willing to help and find a solution. It made up for any little glitches we encountered along the way

The staff, room and restaurant are all excellent. This was our second time here and it was just as great as the first time. Definitely the place we will stay at the next time we are in the area!

The city centre is not particularly good nowadays, although the Cathedral is as spectacular as ever. The city is pretty poor as a centre of shopping, especially Queensgate, which is a shadow of its former glory. For the size of city Peterborough has become it really should be doing better.

Lovely Monsters of the Sea exhibition at cathedral and enjoyed our Peterborough Museum visit. We were happy to sit outside in the sunshine at the beer festival and enjoy live local bands .
We also enjoyed thai food at Charters (from East restaurant) and Indo-Nepalese food at Gurkha Durbaar. Both were excellent.
We didn't get to visit the Lido on this trip .

Beautiful Cathedral and shops are within walking distance.
Beautiful Cathedral and shops are within walking distance. Beautiful historic buildings and a lovely square with restaurants and coffee shops. Historic sculptures to be seen on roof tops and an interesting city. Sadly there are negatives. I wont be returning.

City with a dated shopping centre and lots of restaurants but not much more. Cathedral and grounds, museum and Cathedral Square well worth visiting. Lots of old buildings but lots of rubbish, streets were grubby and littered!

I have stayed at the hotel several times. It has an excellent location near the city centre with ample parking (usually).
Staff are always friendly and helpful and the rooms are generally clean and comfortable. Room was warm enough.
Typically good value for money.
I loved the homely feeling rather than that of a hotel. Also Andi and Mark were so friendly and amazing hosts, the area was great with lots of places to eat and lovely walks and parks nearby. And Frankie was amazing too, hard not to be with a name like that.
I like everything about the hotel which is why I keep booking everytime I'm in Peterborough. I told the receptionist on check out I'll see her again in 10 days!!
