We arrived between Christmas and New Year to find a Christmas tree waiting to greet us, as well as fresh milk in the little fridge, tea, coffee and quality biscuits. Even the bed had a super-soft and cosy quilt cover. Every effort had been made to provide us with a comfy, cosy stay. And as for the ‘attached’ dog-walking paddock - our dog thought it was wonderful - and so did we. Thank you. We look forward to making a return visit. xx

Cottage , seaside views, quiet beach, awesome view, hotel in Pendine

We had a wonderful stay at Barry’s place – it truly had everything anyone could need. The house was comfortable, well-equipped, and the thoughtful touches, like the biscuits, made us feel very welcome. Barry’s hospitality was exceptional, and his contact throughout just highlighted how much he cares about his guests. Communication was great, and although the signal on my end was a bit patchy, Barry was always kind and accommodating. We left feeling relaxed and well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here – it’s a good little getaway. Thank you again, Barry, for making our stay so enjoyable!

    Huge dog-friendly beach!

Huge dog-friendly beach! There was always some sand to go for a walk, even when the tide was in - plus there’s a ‘promenade’ and lots of places a car-ride away. It’s an excellent place and base from which to explore Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Road links are good too. There’s an excellent Chinese restaurant ( Lotus) and St Clears has a few superb shops, Pethau Olyv ( clothes, gifts) is great for conversation, coffee/tea and a tea cake and there are the best fish and chips by the Factory Shop and Indian restaurant next door! Together with so many places to visit - what more could anyone want!?

Pendine is a wonderful part of Wales, the beach is great and the water in the sea was warm. The village offered great food and we ate in most places each day for breakfast and lunch. 25 mins from activity centres with zip lines and go karts, archery, and much more, there was also a theme park close by and that was a fantastic day out away from the beach.

We were very impressed with the Hotel and it was right on the beach - all four of us enjoyed the location we loved it. The staff were all friendly and could not do enough for us. Very welcoming. We slept in so did not have breakfast but we heard it was very good. We would recommend the Hotel to friends and family. Thankyou Caban for a delightful stay.
