A wonderfully comfortable and quiet cottage stay with a sumptuous breakfast that accommodated us vegetarians and powered our hike for the day! Isabelle was great and the night we stayed she kindly picked us up from Kington which we'd reached after a days' walk on Offa's Dyke and saved my feet as I'd rolled my ankle on the way! Super comfy beds and shower and an evening herbal tea was so appreciated. Lyonshall is about 45 mins/1 hour walk out of down along a stream, it was a bit difficult to find the right route the next day but once we did we joined back up with the Dyke path easily.

The bedroom and bathroom were exceptionally clean. Spotless in fact.
There were double kitkats and bottles of water, every type of tea and coffee and a beautiful view out of the bedroom window.
Breakfast was superb with fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries and raspberries), cereals, fruit juice, croissant, toast and a beautifully cooked full English breakfast.

The Old Vicarage is a fantastic property in a beautiful setting in the quaint village of Titley near Kington. The rooms are largely, lovely, spotless, and well stocked with all necessities and more. After a long day of hiking, it was the perfect respite. The tea and fresh cake waiting for us was extra special. Nicola was also a wonderful host, very communicative beforehand and throughout our stay.
