The food at dinner is local and offer isle beers and whiskies. Also, there is a gas station just closed by if you want to refill the next morning.

Second to none. Could critique but just suggestions. Couldn't and wouldn't complain. Overall magnificent. Will definitely return.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable and well-decorated, even providing a Nespresso machine. Amazing view of Portree Harbour from our room too. Didn’t try the restaurant but the bar was really cosy. The hotel is also only 2 minutes walk to the main square. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Sitting by the real fireplace with the glass of whiskey is precious. The staff was more than helpful and friendly. Special credits go to home made breakfasts.

Exceptional staff, great food full of flavour. Room and bathroom is 5 star and styled deliberately Scottish feeling I guess! Art and info books to fill you with ideas for tomorrow. Great little bar, not overpriced!

Lovely quiet location with good access to other parts of the island but away from the bustle of Portree. The only difficulty we encountered was the lack of restaurants on the island in general - you must book a table in advance and many places didn't have availability for the same day meaning that we couldn't get a meal on the day we arrived and ended up eating a snack in our room instead.

Ose is very small, but we have a large dog who was made very welcome at The Anchorage and at a local Fish & Chip restaurant. Lots of great walks but come prepared for mixed weather - waterproofs essential!
