Setting was amazing. Good restaurant for dinner. Quiet. Buffet breakfast convenient, but may be a bit expensive if you don't eat much.

The check-in process was easy and the hostess took us to our room. The twin beds were very comfy and we slept well in our room. If you're hiking and have wet clothes and want to eat your own meals from a communal kitchen, this is your place. There was a "drying" room for wet clothing and also a steam room. It's a fine place, just not what we were expecting.
A warm, family welcome awaits at this traditional West Highland inn/small hotel. Beautifully situated beside Loch Linnhe, Inn at Ardgour is reached via a very short car-ferry trip across the water.

Very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed taking the ferry across for a pint at the hotel across the way.

The view from the big bay window is stunning! It was a joy to wake up to that in the morning. The facilities were new and clean, super easy to use, and the manager is responsive.

The room had a wonderful view of the river and a balcony to enjoy it as well. The staff was super friendly (they let us check in early!) and they got us on the dinner list day-of. The food was so-so, but the company and atmosphere was great. The alcohol from their distillery is 10/10.

Best service, amazing and gentle staff and the property was absolutely lovely
Located in Fort William, 1.4 miles from Loch Linnhe, Roam West provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant.
Glen Coe is beautiful if the weather is decent. If it's raining, it's pretty miserable. There really wasn't anything open in early October so we were challenged for things to do and we weren't even there a day. Our place was 25-30 minutes removed from hiking locations and near the one place open for dinner.

Onich is in a beautiful setting.
Onich is in a beautiful setting. Our pod had a lovely sunny private patio with a stunning view looking down the loch. It is in the centre of an outdoor activities area so there lots of nearby things to do - walking, climbing, mountain biking, sailing , paddle boarding etc. The hotel has reasonably priced bar and restaurant with charming staff. The food was average but it may depend what you order- I had vegetarian burger, my partner had scampi. If weather very poor there is a very nice small cinema, ten pin bowling etc in Fortwilliam which is 15 min drive.
Pod is reasonably well equipped, bed was very comfortable but apart from a coat stand, there is nowhere to store clothes. There are no tea towels either.

End of our trip so only stayed one night - however this place is pretty and relaxing and I would say is ideal for exploring the likes of Fort William, Ben Nevis, Glencoe, Glenfinnan Viaduct etc so you could easily spend a few nights here before heading on to the Isle of Skye or further North.

Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places.
Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places. Ben Nevis is
at Fort William, with the delicious whiskey distillery at its foot. Definitely visit Loch Shiel (famous filming location) and the viaduct at Glenfinnan (as seen in Harry Potter). You'll be totally spoilt with the stunning scenery on the way to and from Eilean Donan castle on Loch Duich - it's a bit of a drive but so, so worth it.

The view of the loch was good.
The view of the loch was good. It was a stormy day and night, but that was an interesting view too.
It was a small simple room, which is all we need. I could do without the TV. The picture on the website made it super easy to spot as we approached. This was a great location for a stopover between things we did.

Location is great - right next to the ferry terminal and close to Glencoe hiking trails. Host was one of the friendliest and most helpful person I’ve met - gave us lots of useful recommendations and made our reservation in the restaurant. There’s waching machine in the drier room where you can dry your clothes. You can put you food into special container (that has your room number on it) and use fridge as well (we had one in the room too). Comfy beds and clean rooms!
Fantastic hosts, who provided us with a comfortable home setting away from home. Comfortable bed, shower great and good breakfast to start the day. Mairi also guided us to get medical care after I got knee injury and to amazing local cafes, restaurants and sites. Our preferred one was Lochleven Seafood Cafe! Superb!
Room was lovely. Fantastic size and facilities. Breakfast provided in the fridge (milk, muffin and orange juice). The restaurant is closed however there is a brilliant pub (Roam West) which does amazing food and drinks.
The hotel was good as was the food, the one flat was when we arrived the ferry to take us across the lock had broken down the week before and they
y could only takepeople and bages but it ended good
