Place was exceptionally clean. Amazing home, beautifully renovated. Hosts were very understanding and very welcoming. We were playing a festival in Oldham (we are a rock band!), and we found this place and booked it due to the price. For so cheap, you expect a dump. But it's far from it. The welcoming pack was a great addition, the biscuits are lovely! 1000% recommend 🤘

We stayed in Saddleworth especially for Whit Friday celebrations and although the weather was mixed, it didn’t disappoint. We had beautiful blue skies for our walk in this part of the Peak District. Big skies and rolling moorland, very restorative .

While Oldham town centre is much like many others you'd visit, the scenery in the nearby pennines is something else entirely. Walking, cycling and driving are all very enjoyable and there are loads of different routes to take. Snake's pass is a local favourite for motorcyclists. There are loads of beauty spots, just pick a route across from Oldham to Yorkshire and plan to stop for a picnic. One thing you should try in Oldham is a curry or kebab. Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi populations have been long established in the area and the food is affordable and fabulous even from the most basic of take-aways. After moving away from Oldham, I've found the standard of this cuisine isn't matched in many other places.

The room is not children friendly.

The room is not children friendly. It is untidy and the bin is rusty and filled with rotten dirt. The walls have mould and its peeling and the bed sheets are so dirty. The TV remote had no batteries and I couldn't find a way to turn on the heater for my children. When I chatted the host on how to do this, he responded okay. The host is also very rude and a liar. The room I was offered to stay with my kids and wife is room 1 but I rejected it and I had to get a hotel on another platform as booking.com could not provide one. It was a terrible experience for me and my family

The view was amazing and the messages sent before arrival were very good and have a clear description of everything! Lovely location and polite owner! I will definitely recommend to anyone who’s In Manchester central/ Oldham area. I can’t fault the accommodation or hosts at all just my preference would be to have a floor length mirror as others are quiet high on wall 😂 and offer spare pillows for the twin bed room 😊

I stayed at the Grains Bar because it was just an hour's drive away from Manchester Airport and I was flying the next day. The hotel is located just outside Oldham in a very pleasant rural setting. My (double) room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary light breakfast although I can't say I enjoyed the loud music which accompanied it.

We were attending a family gathering at 1pm. The receptionist went out of her way to finding us 2 out of 3 rooms that we could have 3 hours before check in time. So we could change for our party and not have to come back later to check in. She was extremely professional. I didn't get this when I stayed in 4 star hotel in Manchester.

Excellent location. Good transport links into Manchester. The room was spotlessly clean and rather larger than what I expected. The breakfast was more than adequate for the price. Great staff.
