Good hotel for the price I paid can’t complain at all in fact will recommend and will be return customer for sure. Entrance from the main road to the hotel is bit confusing but I am sure after one wrong turn it will be managed . Breakfast was good had all the options available. Hot sausage Vegan option is available which I did not know at the time of stay. It would be nice to add halal sausage as well Beds were comfortable very nice and clean room but body lotion can be a good addition to the collection.

Location was ideal for the conference.

Location was ideal for the conference. Lift was not working all weekend and being on the 3 Rd floor with mobility impairment was challenging. No prior warning that lift was not working on checking in and an offer to assist whilst dealing with another customer. Poor customer service. Bathroom very small. One very small waste bin in the bathroom to discard everything including tea bags, another bin should be available

We didn't venture into Oldbury town centre as there was no need or time to do so, there is a Sainsburys' very close to the Domo that we used and we ate at a Greene King pub close by which served its purpose. It ideally situated for visiting Dudley, West Bromwich and other surrounding areas. The nature reserves at Sandwell were very pleasant for walking and picnicking.

Accessible to Birmingham City centre, by local train station...

Accessible to Birmingham City centre, by local train station & good bus route links to Merryhill, Resort world via local train station. A couple of miles away from Harborne & Edgbaston. All major supermarkets less than 10 mins by car to Waitrose, M&S, Sainsbury, Morrisons Aldi & Lidl. Shopping complex, Matalan, Next, Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Homebase. Oldbury is middle England for Birmingham, and culturally mixed, all ages great schools very calm peaceful location. Great churches amenities respectful middle/Upper class neighbourhood, full of working professional people and retired professionals. Nice green spaces Brandhall Golf, Warley woods & Lightwoods Park close proximity.

The hotel is in a run down area with no restaurants nearby. The hotel was convenient for attending a wedding. There are shopping facilities within a short car ride and restaurants also in a car ride.

Honestly this was a last minute booking on route to another hotel as part of a half term break. This hotel is bleak it’s very tired and in need of a complete refurb. We had to move room as the first was like a basement room even though it was ground floor, the shower and towels were mouldy and the sink drain had never been cleaned I can still smell the musty smell on my hands even though I have washed them repeatedly. There are limited lights in the original room giving it a dungeon feel. The new room is clean and feels nicer as the ceilings are higher is still no great shakes. The double glazing is not fitted correctly and lets lots of draughts in and doesn’t stop any of the noise from the road outside I can literally hear every car going past, the curtains are also on their last legs. The bathroom is the tiniest I have ever seen in a hotel and had been tiled by someone with their eyes closed. The only positive are the staff who are very friendly and welcoming.
