the hotel was lovely, very comfortable and in a great location. The staff could not have been better from the owner to the table waiting staff. We will definitely try and come back.

The two restaurants (Broc Bar and Stables) were really lovely with great food - both the dinners and breakfasts we had were amazing and couldn’t be faulted. The outdoor courtyard area was also lovely to enjoy a cocktail in when the sun was shining. The decor inside the hotel was beautiful. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and attentive - it really was excellent service and attention to detail throughout. Also loved the turn-down service and leaving bag of water/flapjacks.

Clean town, very friendly and helpful local people.
Clean town, very friendly and helpful local people. Expensive, but guess being close to Edinburgh things will be dearer. An excellent train service reasonably priced. Roadworks all over the place causing uproar on the roads when we were there but never once saw an actual workman working on the holes. Plenty of good eating places, a few cosy traditional pubs. Beautiful beach with plenty of access points. Many places of interest to visit such as the Seabird Centre, Tantallon Castle, National Museum of Flight and more.
Tesco and Aldi nearby. Two very good caravan/camping parks. Nice leisure centre. Everywhere you go there are marvellous containers of beautifully colourful flowers all planted by volunteers from the town.

Off season parking plentiful but I believe there are more restrictions in the summer.
The train station is close to the centre and it's only 30minutes to Edinburgh.
A good base to explore East Lothian.

Have visited North Berwick often but never stayed over as lived not far away in the past. Tantallon and Dirleton Castles are very different with the former having a view of Bass Rock. Very dog friendly. Lots of places to have food and refreshments. The Rocketeer for lobster is a must.

Its a beautiful characterful town and a great place to stay if you are heading up towards Edinburgh. The beaches are beautiful and the town has a great selection of cafes and little shops. The Scottish SeaBird Centre is really good and well worth a visit. A walk to the nearby Tentallon Castle is recommended.

North Berwick is a great wee Scottish harbour town with excellent beaches, stunning coastal and countryside walks and the added benefit of having some exceptional bistro's and restaurants, particularly 'No.12' and 'The Puffin'.
A great base for visting Edinburgh, Dunbar, Whiteadder Reservoir etcetra.
A Great Location.
These apartments are so comfortable, airy and spacious. The facilities give you absolutely everything you need. Fabulous to have private, secure parking but is a short walk to the train station if you want to dump the car and tour other areas by train. The location in North Berwick was perfect for us. Quiet, yet a very short stroll to the local eateries and shops. A stone throw from the seafront. I have no hesitation in recommending to anyone. I'll be returning to North Berwick and will be looking to returning to West Bay for sure.
Beautiful hotel with large comfortable rooms with fantastic decoration. Public rooms were very inviting and again excellent furnishing and decoration. Food in the restaurant for evening meal and breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced. Beautiful vues over the Firth of Forth and golf course. North Berwick is a beautiful small town with lots of attractions in its surrounding area. Finally, staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
Fabulous location, a lovely walk into North Berwick or down to the local beach.......on a bus line from Berwick so easy return if needed.
Beautiful spacious apartment, very private and great private parking, garden and bench.
Central in North Berwick, clean and well decorated room, great breakfast, didn’t have dinner but good extensive menu, good service from staff, also free car park at rear of hotel
Lovely little ground floor flat right in the centre of North Berwick. Really convenient for shops, beaches and railway station. Fantastic local walks and lots to do.
