The Rocketeer Restaurant serves excellent seafood and the staff are very welcoming. Our dog was allowed in and given water and treats.
Steampunk Coffee serves excellent coffee!
The walk up The Law is worth the views and the Scottish Seabird Centre is interesting and has a good cafe, though we didn't eat there on this occasion.

we liked the beach walks - lovely clean beaches, not many people, mainly dog walkers
nice little harbour and a great seabird centre with a nice tea room with lovely views out to sea
there is also an interesting little museum in one of the backstreets run by volunteers, we loved the old fashioned miniature shops on display: the attention to detail was amazing - I'm sure all the kids love these

If you want to be able to take a train to a nice beach then this is an excellent option. It's a lovely Sandy Beach that is great for short walks. The high street with shops, cafes and pubs is also very close to the train station.

North Berwick was easy to walk around.
North Berwick was easy to walk around. The shops and little cafes are very friendly and accommodating. Lots of things to do beaches, seabird centre, tantallon Castle and also the lodge gardens to visit. Plenty of areas to sit benches are clearly visible and the area is so clean and tidy. Families, couples and single visitors are made so welcome. The train station and bus and taxi services are easily available to explore further. It is an ideal place to visit whether it be a day trip or a holiday.

The hotel was beautiful in a lovely setting views of the sea and golf course were stunning the staff very friendly and helpful especially Trudy, Andrew, Erica, Chris and Maderjee. The room was fantastic better than I expected and the windows opened and we had a fan too. Taxis into town and surrounding areas readily available and reasonable. We would definitely return as we were made so welcome.
The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is easy to find, and within a 10 minute walk of North Berwick station- all the locals seem to know it, which speaks to having a good reputation. It was very quiet for both nights, which was a busy weekend during the Festival period. The lone staffperson (or manager) on-site was friendly.
The apartment was clean, comfortable and very spacious. Everything we needed was provided. The location was ideal with the beach in walking distance and North Berwick a couple of miles away. Would definitely stay there again.
The hotel was in a brilliant location - a short walk from both beaches and the town's main shopping area. We had a lovely evening meal and breakfast in the hotel. The room was clean and well furnished.
Lovely little ground floor flat right in the centre of North Berwick. Really convenient for shops, beaches and railway station. Fantastic local walks and lots to do.
