Very helpful staff / manager who gave me a room with less stairs to climb and as I was not sure whether I was staying more than one night allowed me to leave my bags in the room.

The place was great! Super central location and the family room was perfect for our group of friends. Check in was easy. The host was very responsive and friendly. The car park was close by and the included breakfast at the pub across the square was delicious! A proper english breakky. Would definitely stay here again.

Not the most exciting town but a great centre for visiting the isle of wight by bus as most routes start and finish there and the buses are reliable - I used it as a base for walking the first half of the coastal path. It also has a reasonable choice of eating places

The town itself was not inspiring. WE only spent a short time in town. WE stayed a few miles ouside and the surrounding countryside was very nice. Good location to explore the island - although the size of the IoW means any base is never far from anywhere!

Newport was not dominated by a shopping mall, and there was a good variety of shops. There were some pleasant open spaces. The bus service to other towns on the Isle of Wight were good.
However, the public toilets had not been cleaned for quite a long time.

There is plenty to see around Newport Isle of Wight.
There is plenty to see around Newport Isle of Wight. There is the Owl and Monkey Haven with a good cafe and play area. Butterfly World is fun for all ages a cafe there as well. Busy Bee garden centre has lots to see over several floors and an excellent cafe with very friendly helpful staff. Chris rook Castle has plenty of history but best to go on a dry day. Newport itself has plenty of shops but if you want something a little different then Cowes is the place to go. If you are self catering then there are all the usual supermarkets. Quarr Abbey is a lovely place and the history behind it is well worth finding out. Again a fantastic cafe.

Multi storey car parking ruined the stay as concerned about paying sufficient for overnight stay and enough after they open in the morning before laving the hotel. It seems that Newport don’t want visitors staying there
Lovely boutique hotel in the center of Newport. Each room is individually decorated to a high standard. Breakfast is amazing in a lovely room overlooking the charming garden.
Great location for us visiting friends in Newport. Super clean property and lovely garden. Great that we could take our dog. Really good communication.
