We didn't see much of the place as we were staying overnight before catching a ferry. The town centre was a little unsavoury with some really rough types drinking cider on street benches. We ended up eating in McDonalds as it was the place that was most inviting and bought a cake in Lidl for pudding. We saw the portside when we were leaving on the ferry which looked pretty. I might be being a bit harsh for a place I spent 12 hours in, I would love to see the good side of any place.

A lovely room which was comfortable and spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard. It had tea and coffee making facilities. As well as as bottled water. The bathroom was realy nice and a good size. There is also room on the drive to park you're car which is realy handy. The instruction given on your arrival are easy to follow. There is also a kitchen which is fully equipped with every thing you need it even has a washing machine for quest to use. Any one who stayed here will be delighted with the room and all it has to offer to guest. We didn't meet the owner but he was on hand if needed. Would definitely return when we next come to visit my friend in Peacehaven.

it was a box in the rear garden of the property and I would like the refund as on the booking it said it was a Chalet, The fact is that it is a 10sqm BOX (similar of those fast food boxes you find in the markets across England) in the rear garden of the house.

I had a look around Newhaven Town when my train arrived at the start of my trip. I stayed in Peacehaven and didn't go back to Newhaven until the day I left on the train. The day I arrived, I walked around the old town centre and went into Rosie's Cafe for a nice cup of tea. I got the impression that Newhaven was a town that used to be fashionable but had perhaps lost tourism trade to Brighton and seemed a little run down or neglected. Everyone was very friendly though and it was only a first impression. I would certainly go there again, as it is more peaceful than the larger towns.
